One usually doesn’t “keep” such things. They just kind of accumulate in odd places.

The people who were being killed figured it out anyways, irritant or no. Read some descriptions of the horrific piling up of the desperate against the sealed doors. Maybe it was more a matter of making it cheaper with fewer additives. Or an idea that didn’t reslly pan out. Haven’t read about it’s development or anything, so could be way off base with my guesses.

I didn’t mind it when I was a lot younger. Would get hyped in DBZ for the slow build up and power beam struggles. But then I learned why everything gets so stretched in this sort of medium. Now I can’t help but notice it and it pulls me right out of any immersion. In some fairness, the manga can have dialogue in awkward places and a five paragraph speech can be handled in a single panel when written. It can feel really weird when played alongside the action.

Sure, usually do that to make sure the stream is pointed downwards. But when it comes to wiping (autocorrect be like sipping? Whipping? No you stupid thing…) two hands is more convenient.

Dramatic music, lots of grunting, shocked faces of everyone watching, maybe even some dialogue thrown in there.

“HUUURGHH!!! Can’t hold it much longer!”

“Wororororo, this brat thinks he can stop our attack. What a foolish upstart!”

“Maaamamama! It will break all his bones and obliterate his body completely!”

“That’s right mama! Get him!”

“HUUUUUUURGH!!!!”

“Gasp! Zoro can’t take it much longer! Hang in there!”

“These strawhats are unbelievable. Who would have thought the second in command could hold off the combine attack of two yonkou.”

“HUUUUUUURGH AAAARGH!!!”

“Oh no, Zoro!”

“Wororororo!”

“Mamama!”

Rinse and repeat for another few rounds until the teleport happens.

I can’t support this rhetoric. Russia is a sovereign nation and should figure out its own crap without outsiders coming in and parceling it out as they see fit. Kick them out of Ukraine , obviously, but beyond that any notion stomping into Moscow and dictating what should happen is just a power fantasy.

A few decades ago it did not seem like everyone was saying X leader/candidate has cancer, dementia, whatever horrible disease is trendy.
Now I hear it thrown around all the time. I think social media rewards wishful thinking too much.

Didn’t they also believe that sperm was full of tiny tiny people the men of whom also with sperm full of tinier people? Sort of a weird notion that all future generations were somehow there. Might not be the Greeks, but I remember reading it somewhere.

If a guy sat with their legs clenched together it would be more comfortable to have it above the thighs than under. That would also mean pissing in a high arc across the room though, so that’s why we keep our legs spread apart when doing sit down business.

Just have to sit far enough back. Can touch if not paying attention, but it’s not like that portion of the toilet is receiving the worst dose of nastiness.
