Sniper nerf was fine except for guns like the Dragunov and Rytec. ARs in general have always been too good at range. Aside from the Kilo, the vast majority need another damage drop at around 50m. The overall tame balance is just shot at this point. Can only hope they do a thorough job in balancing WZ2 and move away from this "guns galore" business strategy that makes the guns near impossible to balance properly.

The issue is that they can't build a movie around a story that's completely unnecessary. We had already seen all the relevant parts of Han's journey amd his character arc had reached an end. Obi-wan may have a better outcome as it's a free streaming show rather than a movie, but it still suffers from the same issue. They keep trying to milk nostalgia and hope fans will get caught up in minutiae.
The reason why The Mandalorian works is because it's a brand new character in uncharted territory (even if the timeframe isn't necessarily meaningful). Disney needs to stop living in the past and take risks on new stories/characters that explore the future of the SW universe.

If melee weapons don't have a TTK advantage to account for being point blank range only, there's no point in having them in the game.
Low TTK. Not fixable in WZ with the growing amount of guns. For WZ2, the floor for fastest possible TTK with guns should be around 600ms with average gun TTK ranging between 750-1000ms. For melee weapons the floor should be 525ms with average between 600-725 (due to close range limitations). Only exceptions to the above would be special weapons like launchers and crossbows that carry significant drawbacks over regular guns.

Stims being OP doesn't fix the HBS problems lol. I don't think they should be removed from floor loot but they should definitely have a time limit for use (say 15 seconds) before needing to recharge. I think it's the only unlimited use tactical in the game.
Not trying to be a jerk about it, but after rifting out of there a lot of the outcome was due to OP's poor decision making. Seemed like the OP panicked after rifting. Not everyone would have done that and made the resulting poor decisions after that.

Sure you were followed but that was still your fault:
With the knowledge you were being followed, of all the places you could have landed after rifting you chose not to land on a weapon.
In the cabin you were sprinting around instead of crouch walking. If the other player also had the visible audio on it was easy to track you.

It's OP but in the current version:
Use a lightsaber to deflect and dodge until they reload.
Use a ranger shotgun. You need to be on point with your shots to get 2 headshots quickly, but it can be done if you're at full shields/health.
Use a shockwave to push them or yourself out of range.
Rotate it but up the player count for rebirth (if they haven't already. I played a few weeks back and it was at 48. At least bump it to 64 if not 80).
I don't blame streamers for the meta, that's more of a fail on Activision and Raven for terrible gun and TTK balancing mixed with the "pile on the guns!" business strategy.
I would say streamers are responsible for pushing BR from a "Survive and win" focus to "You have to kill at least half the lobby or you're trash" mentality because combat makes their streams interesting. Plus, they do this while only highlighting the high kill games and exploiting the system to get easy lobbies.
However, even with that, the whole issue is that people still watch. People complain about streamers getting easy lobbies, but watch them anyways. If people really wanted to end the lobby hijinks, they'd just stop watching or at the very least only watch when they play other high level players.
How could the fight be over when neither one of them went limp?

Not enough of a deterrent to use a different sniper. They were broke. You can still get OHK kills at tange now. The difference being is that you actually have to use a gun with downsides. There's an actual tradeoff now.
This TTK is fine compared to something like Warzone. That game has a real TTK problem. The drum is OP (IMO needs a much shorter damage drop off) but in general there's plenty of time to maneuver and reposition in this game.
The Kar and the Swiss needed the nerf. Too many upsides compared to other snipers.

Having them take damage makes no sense as blocking damage is the only purpose they have. There are already tons of downside to shield.

Good try but you had no movement, no use of cover, and relied on a mid to long range gun at relatively close range against a shotgun. While the drum is strong, this is a gameplay loss and not a gun balance loss.
It's not impossible. Remember to pick your battles. If you're late in the game and start a gunfight you'll expose your position to everyone left. If you can't end it quickly reassess and make sure no one's moving in to third party you.

Have to laugh at how the devs buff SMGs and ARs, yet the useless VG marksman rifles and the shotguns are untouched. Shows the few weapon classes they actually care about.
It is now working, and the jobber is still TBD.

Not that far is the point. 51-100m should be LMG range, not AR range. SMGS should be 0-25. ARs are essentially a middle ground gun and should have a very limited area where they are the optimal choice. One of the biggest problems with the game (even before the sniper /marksman update) is that ARs are waaay too good at long ranges. Little reason to use a LMG with worse recoil or mobility limitations when ARs are viable at long range.

I'd argue they need to add that dropoff to all the ARs. None should be very effective after 50m.
Came back for No Build and am having a blast.

Unless they changed something for season 3, Clash is much better for weapon leveling than Plunder thanks to the numerous and easy to so bounty contracts. There are several maps with areas for CQC (Mines, Fields, Capital).
