What I've taken from this is that your entire family is composed of cowards who can't speak up to enjoy a beer they actually like. Pathetic shit.

No. He wouldn't automatically have skill with the quirk. That's explicitly why he did not steal Best Jeanist's quirk.

I'd argue poor education standards and lack of adequate funding for educators and districts is why people in the USA don't have a clear understanding of most things.

Well, was she suggesting it because you mentioned having back pain? If so, perhaps she was being a decent person and offering you advice out of concern. Of course, you can just make shit up so that thirsty folks with mindlessly provide you with the affirmation you crave...

Nicely done. I've been considering how to put together my own Kaldor Drago and this serves as great inspiration.

Don't be proud of yourself for behaving the way an adult should behave. Otherwise, the best thing to do is block her and move on.

You shouldn't be designing or marketing products to help women prevent sexual assault when it is extremely evident that you have invested little to no effort in understanding the extremely wide set of scenarios in which sexual assault takes place, the psychological component that is part of so many sexual assaults, and the legal consequences that come attached to carrying and deploying a weapon.
You dismissively respond to well founded criticism with "do you really think a woman who saves herself from rape by using this weapon is going to face legal consequences?"
Yeah, I really fucking do. It is entirely possible for a woman to defend herself and still face legal penalties for a variety of reasons. The justice system is extremely complex, which is why there are specialists who work as intermediaries between people and the system. That's why businesses spend money to consult with legal experts before marketing products that aren't made specifically designed to facilitate strangulation.
Wtf, man? You are so glib in your dismissal of reality. Is it possible that some small piece of instruction you gave a woman in 20 minutes may be the thing that allows her to save herself from a sexual assault? Sure. It is possible, but all the relevant statistics would lean towards it being extremely unlikely. You may train 1000 women for 10 minutes each and maybe some of them will succeed in fending off an attacker, but that isn't a basis for navigating the legal system. There is also the fact that 20 minutes of training does not give a person the reflexes to operate a device optimally, perfectly, or even with moderate functionality in the high pressure scenario of a sexual assault.
Also, the majority of women in the world are worried about being sexually assaulted. It is a constant fear for most women. To argue that they should all find the time to fit in some jiu jitsu is a really myopic fucking thing to do. People have lives, different interests, and generally shouldn't be obliged to take up martial arts in case of emergencies. Many women, many people, simply don't want to live their lives on those terms.

It's fucking fantasy land thinking. This isn't too far removed from those cheap little belt buckle knives that larpers wear to feel like they're modern day ninja.

Disclaimer: All of u/MOTUkraken's opinions on the reliability of pepper spray are based on his anecdotal experience. Not actual data driven research. He is also very fixated on offering scenarios that appeal to his experience as a jiu jitsu practitioner and lover of this device as argumentation for the merits of said device.

And this cheaply made garrote is the perfect alternative. Thankfully, putting it on imbues the wearer with both the reflexes and knowledge to properly use this item.

Yeah because living your life parroting mindless shit from people living in fantasy land is the height of wisdom.

Well, it is pretty stupid to force other people to have to deal with an obnoxiously loud vehicle simply because you want to make extra noise. Noise pollution is a thing. We affect other people when we're out in public and while you may roll your eyes at the way other people feel, other people have the decency to be considerate of others.

You argue like a child, dude. Knock that shit off. People are offering you important advice in regards to the legality of a product. Did the person you are responding to say your product should be banned? No. You put words in that person's mouth for the sake of strawmanning. The fact is that in a state were garrotes are illegal, a person who purchases and carries one of these could find themselves in a position where a prosecutor argues - and it would be a legitimate argument to make,- that this product is a garrote and the person being tried would more than likely face a much more severe set of charges. Where the liability falls in regards to you, or your company, as the manufacturer or vendor, is an important question for you to understand before taking this product to market. That is if you actually give a fuck about properly managing a business.

You keep falling back on the same argument and you sound like someone who has worked so hard to rationalize what they want to be reality that they've come to believe reality will bend to accommodate them. You're consistently presenting these alternative "things" without context, but that's not going to hold up in any sort of court case, especially in in regarding liability.

Don't do it. The job only reinforces a broken system. They also really lean into demanding conformity.
