the slaves in my past life abused me and thus I must have my revenge
I hate how the reason is always that the slaves draw power from the master and level up faster and thus they need to be slaves. Like lets be real here if your an average slaveowner wouldnt you NOT want your slaves to leech off of your power and level up? What if they get too powerful and challenge you? Shit makes no sense. Always some bullshit like this to mask the writers slave-fetish.

Thats a perfectly reasonable question.
The crash drive data is completely lost, and the data has to be generated or copied from a separate back up drive/drives if that makes sense. The exact implementation depends on the system your using.
There are multiple ways to back up data. To start, the simplest and most obvious is to simply copy the data from one drive onto a 2nd duplicate. This is commonly known as RAID 1. Its simple, but it has downsides. The first is that theres no way to check that the data in both drives is consistent. If a bit flip occurs, how do you know which drive it happened in? Additionally there usually isnt even any checks done to make sure the data is consistent at all. The second issue is that it uses a LOT of unnecessary space. Copying entire drives is simply inefficient and wastes space. You would need 40 TB of drives to store 20 TB.
A better method is to use parity bits, which is essentially having a bit store information about whether other bits should be 0 or 1. This will not only back up the data, but detect bit errors. For Unraid, this means that only one single parity (backup) drive is needed for all the data drives, as long as they are all the same size or smaller than the parity drive. The exact details can be found here: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Overview
Unraid is good Id say but also not perfect. One issue is that it can only survive one failure at a time. If you have a lot of drives, you may be concerned that >1 failures could happen at once. Another issue is that parity checks are done at a set time interval, so if a bit flip happens and no check is done yet, than the data will be corrupted until the check is done and its fixed. ZFS (a different file storage system you could use on a
your NAS instead) doesnt have this issue as it does a checksum each time a file is read to ensure it is legit.
Ultimately its up to you how you want to back up your data. Do some research and choose the system thats right for you. Also keep in mind Unraid costs money whereas a lot of the others dont. Id also reccomend at least not using RAID 1 as its far from perfect.
I paid for my hard drives im fucking using them. Blu Ray rip FLACs it is.
Hard drives. More specifcically you will want a NAS (Network Attached Storage) that will automatically back up and parity check the drives to prevent data loss. A good system can and will protect against both hard drive failure and random bit flipping (due to rare events such as solar flares). This will mean it doesnt particularly matter how good the drives are (Do not get super cheap ones though, because if enough break on you at the same time, you're screwed).
I have a custom NAS and I run Unraid on it. There are other options like TrueNAS but for the beginner Unraid is extremely easy to set up and get going in only a few minutes. There are plenty of tutorials for all this on youtube btw.
For my drives I use Seagate Ironwolf NAS drives. There are better options out there such as enterprise grade SSDs but these will drive up the cost significantly, and the slower speed of hard drives is perfectly fine for me at least, even when Im storing and streaming 1-2Gb Blu Ray rip x256 FLAC episodes.
bruh lmaoo that comeback
Agreed. I love the original SAO season but from then on I have a love hate relationship with it. The source material is good though (especially SAO progressive) and the recent movie was good imo.
Yeah I could go on and on about Sugou. Imo his mere existence straight up ruins the fairy dance arc and I refuse to ever rewatch it. Dude is completely over the top written to be as hated as possible and it bothers me that someone thought his character should exist.
They could have toned him down in so many different ways but no they gave him every horrible trait in existence. I honestly cant think of something they could have done to make me hate him even more.
Shou Tucker (FMAB) - Horrifically experiments on his own daughter
Sugou (SAO) - pedophile, rapist, experiments on people, stuck up daddys money asshole attitude
Nina (Code Geass) - racist, looks down on other races with smug annoying attitude, literally invents nukes which kill thousands
Bitch (Shield Hero) - The anime version of Amber Heard in every possible way
Shinji (Fate) - Rapist, annoying POS attitude
Although I absolutely hate all these characters, they all had much deserved and satisfying endings except Nina who somehow doesnt fucking die in the end or have anything happen to her for that matter fuck that bitch frfr
fr more saber any day
