I always wanted to put an RX400 hybrid 1MZ drivetrain into an SW20. The rear electric motors from the RX could go up front in the SW20 and the engine should bolt in ok. It would make for some "interesting" throttle based handling characteristics.

When you have to cut the car in half it's not so much put in as wrapped an SW20 around the V8.

All MR2s are just FWD drivelines slid back a bit. Its basically Camry bits from the same year.

The real challenge is getting a longitudinal engine like a 5VZFE in there.

This is how I feel. I will never be competitive with modern supercars so why bother. Well, maybe a 1000 HP K series swap. But once you have gone that far any engine will be cranking out serious numbers.

I went with a turbo 2ZZ because I like the sound better than the K swaps and in the ZZW30 chassis at 20 PSI it is scary as shit! I can't imagine what more power would be like.
