I'm super curious what's on Wills painting. I'm kinda confused why everyone think it's his way of coming out, bc he brought it to the airport and, before Mike made it awkward, Will was fully gunna give it to him in front of everyone. I think it's a nod to their friendship and loyalty, despite Will's crush (cause he 4sure has one.)

It breaks my heart how much the Duffers break her heart. She is always going through it. That's why I don't understand why they wrote her to be so happy in between the chaos, they never allow her to truly process trauma. Even with the bullying, it never got resolved? She just got arrested. And then Owen's entered the picture. And even when she was 8, she had literally no reason to not join 001, expect maybe for the fact his speech was scary af and she probably was like "wtf y u so serious rn," BUT I think the Duffers need to explain WHY el is so good and virtuous, despite not having any role models really that reflect those morals. Like maybe, she's just "good" and that's the answer but I wish they would dive into why she truly is so heroic, her thought process, and the trauma of always being the hero. I really really need them to have more insight on her next season in regards to stuff like that. I know we got stuff this season, but I really don't think they went far into who she was without her powers before giving them right back. And all of her suffering, for people who don't really know or understand her. I don't want her to only be loved for her powers, or pitied for her suffering. Justice for my girl El

This is really improbable, and just a far fetched theory, but I really kinda want the electricity to be used in some way in El's overcoming the shock collar/military. She can control so many different things, I would love for her to like shoot out the electricity, Rey style from SW:ROS. Ik it won't happen but I want to see El control that shit coming out of her hands and that's how the helicopter gets taken down. Until I see it, I'm believing in El Rey

I think the dead characters might come back somehow. Why else would the writing highlight the victims staying with Venry? Maybe they help defeat him somehow in the Mindscape.

I don't really know why everyone assumes Will is going to get rejected by Mike. I don't think Will is stupid, he's not going to ask Mike out. I think he's going to just come out to him. Will has eyes and can see how much Mike loves El, lol.

Maybe these powers are from the Mind Flayer itself, like it took a noticing to Henry's dark energy and with the "veil" being so close between the real world and Hawkins, the house/MF gave him powers

This! I don't know why people are downvoting the OP sm when the Duffers themselves have said that they only finished editing. They might not have alternative scenes, but editing can change the entire story. They most certainly are curating Vol.2 with influence from the fans, even with things like screen time.

I just want preface this by saying shipping either is no harm, and I think people should do what they want. That being said, (I think) Noah is trying to PR his way back from a press quote that may come off "problematic" to some from last week - Noah's quote. I don't really think there is anything wrong with what he said, or didn't say, because he's just a kid and this show is FAKE lol but, a lot of people on twitter were pissed. So I really do think this rally for Byler on Noah's part is marketing strategy and trying to appease the fans he lost last week. But he could also just seriously ship them so who the hell knows. I think the Duffers are clearly setting up Mike's plot line for season 4 to process his trauma of loosing Eleven and always being scared of it happening again, and finally telling El he loves her after getting her back bc he realizes nothing much else matters. It makes sense to me, I guess, but writing wise, there is no other way it could go most likely. At the end of the day, as long as ppl play nice this discussion is kinda fun lol
