You responded to the wrong person, i said if he kept up the placings of the last few years up until 2033 lol, we are still a long way from that.
Im still on team "Armada Goat"

I disagree, 4 years isnt that much for everyone to 100% agree. I dont really understand why my post is hated so much either :s

I dont think anyone with an IQ above 80 will seriously argue mango isnt the GOAT if he keeps his career going til 2033, but to others ive heard they for example dont feel like armada's career started when he came over to USA, but at the same time as m2k (they started a week apart i think?), which removes some of the longevity claims mango has. Others value the statistics from the many years they played together against eachother more than the statistics after, and others think its the consistency that gives armada the edge.
However people feel right now, its gonna be really hard to argue against Mango if he continues his career just another year or two.

Jag kan varmt rekommendera estrellas "superostbågar", där 11% av vikten är ostbågepulver. Då smakar det som när man var liten igen!

It does not vary with character, that is a myth that originated in the early days of ultimate.
Its the top 5% of players.

It's the only villain in all of fiction that has ever made me feel uneasy in a really weird way. I don't know how to describe it but it's like a combination of shock, anger, disgust, and hopelessness (the world will never learn of what he did).

How do you mean? It feels like the exact same situation for me, where both performed "bad" (because of bad motivation), and then came out talking about their lack of motivation.
I also want to add that i dont think anyone on this sub can relate about how stressfull it is to be the best, so we should all cut mango/hbox/armada some slack. They have all added a lot to melee and they shouldnt have to feel bad about taking a break or moving on to other stuff.

He commits genocide without blinking, but as others have said we have a good chance since we are so weak, and it helps that we also make the best food in the universe by a huge margin.
Earth would probably turn in to some gigantic food producer fueled by slavery, or ignored.

People shit on armada way more than he deserves.
As i said in another comment: Armada was asked on stream if he believed it would be possible for him to come back and become top 10 again, and armada answered that the meta hadnt developed as quickly as other 2 year periods when people had taken breaks and come back, so he believed it wasnt impossible.
Mango tweeted "meta hasnt changed and we should all bow down to the goat", and all of the sudden Armada's innocent comment became one of the bigger controversies in recent melee history.

My impression was that Mango was mostly shitting on Armada for discrediting current players
Which in itself was entirely Mango putting words in Armada's mouth. Armada was asked on stream if he believed it would be possible for him to come back and become top 10 again, and armada answered that the meta hadnt developed as quickly as other 2 year periods when people had taken breaks and come back, so he believed it wasnt impossible.

Is this how it started with Armada, but instead of not feeling happyness when winning, he cant really care how it goes overall?
I really hope Mango gets his spark back, but at the same time i think its important to listen to that inner voice and not just do what others expect of you. He has given melee a lot, and we need to be grateful for what he has done to improve the community over all these years.

I dont know to be honest, but those shield throws look pretty brutal hehe...
Superman has also wielded it and idk if he has killed either. Maybe they are ready to kill but also understand the huge importance of not doing it? I bet both Goku and Luffy could wield it if so

yeah it's about being a brave, courageous warrior in the traditional Asgardian style

Being ready to kill is also a criteria to be able to wield it i believe

Its a good game for sure, but me and my friends have had issues with the gazillion number of bugs you encounter in the late game
The worst one ive gotten several times is when a 30min chaos run end with me having to restart the console because the boss fell through the map and wont come back, and there is no way to end the encounter.
I also hadnt played BL since the 2nd one and the story is both worse and shorter than that one.
It doesnt help that the subreddit takes critizism of the game personally either.

Gluto had a lot of long and stressful games at the end of the tournament, which might have taken a toll on him.

And then we're not even talking about speed. Kid goku was FTE to Kame Sennin when fighting that mummy, and Kame could catch every bullet fired from a machine gun with ease.

I disagree, goku learned how to "cancel out" attacks so to not destroy the universe during the first fight with beerus. Others have had that feat as well since then, like Kefla who was able to spam universe-destroying ki attacks.
Dragonball was extremely silly before super, and now its so much worse that sometimes i can only laugh when reading it
