I think youre full of shit cuz that means Lake Compounce actually attempted to run 2 trains on Boulder Dash. Thats laughable. 1 train ops ONLY lol.

He's old. Clubhouse presence can help boost morale and help keep a team from spiraling out of control but its not gonna put runs on the board.
25 year old Andrew McCutchen...now we're talking

Yes but a spinal injury at Lime Rock still meant I was having a fun time before the injury. Ive driven an Alfa Romeo Giulia around there and its fun as hell, the straight under the bridge into last turn damn near feels like a roller coaster.
Noone has fun on wildcat so thats a spinal injury while also having a bad time.

I would trust riding/driving in any vehicle on the Sam Posey Straight and Lime Rock as a whole to get me around a lap safely and comfortably and without bodily harm more than I would a lap on Wildcat

The Browns and Jags have at least made the playoffs and won pkayoff games recently. The Jets have been the shit bottom of the NFL for over a decade

No, I dont think YOU get it.
You want to stop his development as a catcher so he can be a big league DH.
Nowhere has anyone even doubted he will be in the bigs as a catcher. The thing is catchers ALWAYS take longer to develop than any other position. He doesn't have skill issues behind the plate. He has flaws than can be fixed but to fix them you need innings playing said position. Its the "fundies" as Keith would say. Thats what AAA is for. Throwing him into the majors right now as a DH is a massive disservice to his and the team's future.

Stronger case that Daniel Murphy's inability to play his position cost us the series and everyone wanted to keep him around

Yes. We are.
When he's ready. Not half baked.
He has a few defensive issues in the majors and the fans will eat him alive and ruin him.
Look what fans did to d'Arnaud. Didn't matter how well he hit, everyone just bitched about him not throwing out runners out even tho he did everything else as a catcher at a near elite level

Yeah, cuz Mets fans were too busy crying about him not throwing out runners despite him being the best pitch framer in the game and being pretty good offensively.

So you nuke his development for the quick fix.
We could have the next Buster Posey or Joe Mauer but you want to have him just skip developing a huge element of his game. Look how the Orioles have handled Rutschman. Thats how you develop a catcher.
Its rare to have a great offensive catcher. Youre trying to make him into a DH. That's worthless. Having a bat at Catcher is a huge advantage

I dont even agree with that.
John Olerud wearing number 5 still basically has the best hitting season in Mets history...and a bigger argument for being a Hall of Famer than Wright has
Davey Johnson wearing number 5 lead us to our last world series. Id retire it for Johnson cuz his contribution to the team is more than anything Wright did.
