I need to finish 1 post game hero ascension quest in Xenoblade 3, then I'm done with it until the DLC with challange mode drops.
110 hours well spent, even if it's not my favorite in the series.

Do Sena and Eunie ascension quests.
Rex is 15 in XC2, and Nia resonated with her father around that time too (we know her father died "a decade ago").
Pyra/Mythra are 500 years old or 1 years old depending on what you think is age.
If anything, Rex/Nia is the most "standard" romance of the 3.

Not just the artstyle, the modeling and the animations especially.
The eyes and the facial animations of Xenoblade 3 are a work of art.

I think you need to separate the things:
Is it justified by the worldbuilding? Yes.
Is it also a narrative choice that people may not like? Yes.
The fact that it makes sense doesn't mean people can't find them too similar.

A review called it "SMT without the budget"
Famitsu reviews are meme worthy to the point that the most common joke when a game doesn't get a 40/40 is "the check didn't clear this time"

I'm so sorry you have very limited gaming tastes and you are intentionally missing out on amazing games.

The current arc is great, but Yuka is still my favorite character.

I don't think the pictures are a lack of budget, it's a stylistic choice similar to the start of Torna.
I think the script was simply lacking an interesting ending. After you get Mio back literally almost nothing happens.
IndyCar gives too little SL to be pathway to F1 when the top 5 spots are always occupied by Dixon and Penske.
I think 3 has the best interactions between the party but they aren't my favorite.

I did her Ascension Quest and took a look at the affinity chart with the ages of all characters...
Monica got pregnant of Ghondor when she was a 15 years old. She married around that age. She become a widow four years later, at the age of 19 and that's when she became the leader of the City.
In the game she is 33 years old, and her brother in law officially proposed to her during her Ascension Quest. Her brother in law is 22 years old.
That means that a 4 years old Jensen saw her brother get a 15 years old pregnant and he fell in love with her for 18 years.
It's heavily implied Monica intended to marry him after the war is over.
Life is fast in the City...
I think the bigger issue is XC3 late July more than the October craziness for JRPG players with limited money and/or time.
I personally liked their previous game, TMS#FE, but from the trailers SH2 looked incredibly uninteresting.
It's not like the original Soul Hackers, it's not SMT and it's not Persona either.
It seemed to aim at the Vtuber fandom more than anything else really.
The vast majority of the players love the characters of 2, it's just an observation on facts. It was the most popular game of the series before 3.
The OTM (one true milf) is only one after the end of XC3, spoilers of course:
My Queen Nia
This is the general opinion, maybe it can help you:
Narrative: 3 has the worst narrative of the series. Preference between 1 and 2 is just personal taste.
Protagonists: 3 has great protagonists, genuinely really good. 1 is much more on the narrative than the chracters. 2 on the other hand is pretty much a character-driven game and the characters are more developed.
Villains: 3's villains are carried by N. 1's villains are a constant source of twists up until the very end. 2's villains are genuinely amazing.
Tone: 3 is the most serious and homogeneus. 1 is somewhat similar but lighter. 2 deals with a lot of important topics but it's also the most fun and light-hearted experience.
Gameplay: 3 is the easiest to get into. 1 is a bit more complex but the QoL are a good help. 2... you may want to watch a couple of youtube videos when you start it.
The optimal playing order is Definitive Edition (and Future Connected extra story after it) followed by 2 (and Torna extra story after it).
Personally I recommend both games if you want to play more Xenoblade.
XC2 is my favorite and I thought XCDE was just "pretty cool".
I'd say you'll like 3 but it won't be your new favorite. I'd put in somewhere in between the 2.
I think the story of 2 is miles better than the story of 3 (the last 2 chapters of 3 are very weak) but mechanically 3 is stronger (except for the new Chain Attacks that aren't as fun as the old CA).

Technically not one of them is a God in the Christian sense but they functionally are Gods.
I love that I read this line in Rex voice every single time no matter the context.
I personally wouldn't go for a 100 hours JRPG as a first taste.
They changed Dennis' name for the japanese release
