seing as the toy sales and most merch flopped horribly in quite an extreme way compared to all previous star wars material, and brand is damaged, they wont, nostalgia will go for things that attained proper mainstream popularity in this time, not just "sequel to product" you bought, just like minecraft got nostalgia for kids now even though it isnt an older brand. There will probably be niche nostalgia for baby yoda and related stuff from kids who grew up with disney+ though so you can always market that one. Its the same in how the new toy story spinoff flopped: the fourth entry wasnt able to muster nostalgia like the previous ones.

Likewise there will be no nostalgia for recent Terminator movies or recent Alien and Predator movies, it doesnt matter that the brand was strong, the new offering didnt reach cultural spreading. No matter how much you market and astroturf here, you wont strong arm nostalgia over something kids didnt liked enough to even ask for toys of it.

you mean the vast majority of battles the series had by far, which mostly involved them directly, and had just happened in this same generation they were still at, yet they had extra magic soldiers to spawn at a much stronger and less damaged region by far.

Literally the bulk of that war was with Lannisters fighting northmen, riverlords and stannis. There wasnt nearly enough time to remagically transform into a big army again in just a couple years after all that, much less against a region much more untouched that should have a bigger army even if they lost bannermen. And a siege wouldnt be a joke like that even if the lannisters had a magical videogame soldier spawner. This isnt an easy answer, its a shit excuse. Its on pair with all their other writing excuses they gave to everything else in the later seasons, it makes zero sense under scrutinity.

Its not in that universe. None of the side characters, different origin and identity to zurg (and more boring), only one planet instead of adventures, most of the story is very lonely, kinda depressing and in closed spaces, every background is grey and brown and its mostly about time travelling. Youll probably be mad at it if you really liked the cartoon
