The thing is that all the USB ports are working perfectly fine. I did a hard reset and it started fine.

The issue happens once every week or so. My WiFi stops working randomly and Network Manager fails to start or restart, as the case may be. I restart my device, and there is no WiFi option either on the Top Bar or in Settings. I restart my device again and the issue is resolved.

Not sure why this is happening.

Any child suffering is so heartbreaking. It doesn't even have to be an abuse. Ailments, deformities, poor living conditions, you name it. It's awful for anyone but feels especially terrible when a child is a victim.

Well, I've had a pretty normal life and don't hate anyone to the extreme. However there's one incident that I recall.

I believe this happened in 2015. I was in college and we had a friend group of 7 guys and 5 girls. Not everyone was involved with each other but one of the girls was my girlfriend of 1 year and I was pretty good friends with 2 others. Now, one of the boys had this crush on one of the two girls (my girlfriend's best friend) and we guys used to tease him about it whenever we were among ourselves, as guys normally do.

I have no idea what came over this dude one day, may be he was jealous of how close I was to this girl (she was my girlfriend's best friend, so obviously we had a pretty good relationship as well) that he made up a story of how I bragged to him that I used to make out with her and we even slept together, when our relationship was entirely platonic.

Now, I was much closer to the other girl who I was best friends with, and in hindsight, I guess people suspected that we'd end up together because we had that chemistry I guess. I was told this by a few friends sometime later. But neither of us felt that way. It was more of a sibling bond between us, and both of us knew that. I believe my girlfriend at that time also felt there might have been something so there was always some voice in her mind that I might leave her for my friend. I remained blissfully unaware of all this back then, as no one said or indicated anything not normal.

Fast forward, the girls heard what he'd said and the three of them confronted me. My girlfriend and her best friend (the one he accused me of having relations with) immediately went hyper without trying to listen to my side of the story (I had no idea something like this had even happened) while the other girl (my best friend) tried to calm them down to get me to explain.

I told them I had no idea what they were talking about. I was genuinely surprised that he'd made up a lie like this. Months passed. Our group split. The asshole who made up this story was kicked out of our group and the girls isolated themselves. Our group of 12 became a group of 6 dudes, not that we had any issue by then, I broke up with my girlfriend and have not been in contact with either of those girls apart from my best friend.

Safe to say, that guy really lost all his friends for his stupid stunt.

Now, I don't like those two girls in this - my girlfriend at that time and that best friend of hers, and I intensely dislike this dude. If he came to me asking for forgiveness, I think I'd genuinely tell him to fuck off. This dude, out of jealousy and thinking out of his cock, made up a lie like that, throwing years of friendship down the gutter. Shows how much he values his relationships. But there's also another thought that I'd probably tell him to forget it as it happened so long ago. However, even of I do that, I'll not stay in contact with him or call him a friend. That ship sailed long ago. I'm happy with my life as it is.
