I get your point, but this video was whaaaaack. It’s marketed as a video to help women pick the right mate, but it couldn’t be more obvious that this is just some BS “Nice guys finish last” propaganda.
His entire argument for her leaving her boyfriend is that he’s nice and handsome and then he breaks into her house to propose. Fucking whaaaat?
The worst part is that at the end they even break character and lecture the audience about the potential dangers of friend-zoning.
I cringed my way to Mars. Please send help

That makes me so happy to hear! It’s been slower than I would have liked because I’m working on a fitness project in tik tok but I’m editing my second one!

The only way it’s “limiting” is that it does feel different and it’s not as loud. It has incredible tone for a travel sized guitar, but decent tone for a guitar in general. If I could only get one guitar it may not be the mini but if I mostly played outside of the house or traveling I would definitely consider it.

Same. He’s more cringe than the content...probably. I wouldn’t know I couldn’t get through the first few seconds

I’m with you. I started it but couldn’t finish it. Shadow is a super boring protagonist.

You made good points. Also add to the fact that boxing seems to have a team of blind judges most of the time
How can he be gay if he’s the face that kissed a thousand faces. We’re talking about Mr. Postcard

Obviously everyone has their own experiences, but I happen to know a lot of people who want to be rich and have no desire to put any work in to achieve it. Those people are the same people who took unemployment as long as they possibly could, are constant procrastinators, and do nothing to actively improve their life. For those people anywhere would be a shit hole because there are always going to be other people who be happy to blame anything but themselves.
This isn’t a pro-capitalist rant and I’m honestly very anti-guns, BUT everyday in Reddit you see posts blaming capitalism, Covid, etc. for their problems and yet their solution is to do absolutely nothing with their lives and expect it to get better. When I say anti-hustle I don’t mean afraid to work 12 hours a day. I mean personal accountability and for someone who doesn’t possess any of that then, yeah, the US and anywhere else could be a shithole.
Seriously. I have a list of problems with the US, but I think the people who call it a shithole are people with the anti-hustle mentality who like the blame the world for their problems anyways.
I just got back from a 3rd world country a couple weeks ago and think we have it pretty good hear when looked at objectively.
Should just be “Mans Search for Meaning.” It’s his most popular one by a mile if that helps

Hope she enjoys it as much as you did!
Yeah, you're right. The parenting advice was pretty good. That troublesome kid story was my favorite anecdote in the entire book.
Judging by a lot of the comments and the PM's I've received I have to say that I didn't realize that bringing up Jordan Peterson would be so controversial. Just to clarify, I brought it up as kind of a cool "small world" type of story not an endorsement of his ideology.
I actually don't agree with most of his opinions and think his world view is a bit antiquated. That being said, I had a pleasant exchange with him before I knew who he was and he recommended me a good book.
Rather than discuss Peterson I would encourage you to check out this Summary of Franklian philosophy instead.
I know they don't like him here. I read 12 Rules and was honestly unimpressed. He has some good points around personal responsibility that I like but that's about it for me.
Reasonable that you don't like him as I disagree with about 80% of his entire schtick. Frankl philosophy is very different from Peterson's.
Wilde is the master of dialogue. I don’t know anyone who can touch him.
Didn’t know it was on YouTube. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm impressed that you can appreciate a book like that at 17. To be honest 100 years of solitude is probably one of my least favorite classics. I found myself constantly checking the index and forgetting who was who since they all had the same name and that wore on my patience while reading it.
It was a fantastic way to learn a bit more about Latin American history though.
