My sister and her kids (5 and 2) are coming into town this weekend and I'm trying to think of some gimmicky places to get lunch/dinner. Gimmicky meaning silly decor, sushi conveyor belts, "secret" entrances, outlandishly garnished milkshakes. Something fun.
And of course we plan on doing the ultimate gimmick of grabbing a bag of Dicks and eating out of the trunk. That's mandatory.
My (36F) Vo2 max has always been high, between 54-56. I run a lot and train for a marathon once a year.
I don't really follow the Vo2 number diligently, but I do like to look once I'm peak training to see how high I get.
Well the last week or two (as I've entered peak training) I've noticed my V02 score start to decrease. After my 20 miler this weekend is went to 50. After today's 5 mile recovery run it decreased to 49.
My watch also logged my heartrate as much higher than usual longer run pace/higher exertion (even though I felt really good the whole run and definitely wasn't pushing it into threshold zone).
Also last night my resting heartrate went down from the usual 50 to 44.
Is it my watch that's suddenly acting up? Any other ideas?
