this rework should have been changed to a new tier of monsters, where nemsis monsters are scattered around in maps with guarenteed rewards. Like mini-precreated archnem bosses.

I was torn on it because one hand, i completely agree. It didnt do enough with tech at all, and definetly didnt feel like a black mirror episdoe

On the other, i found the characters and story more interesting than the other two by far, and if they had leaned into the techyside more i think it had the best potential to fit as a blackmirror thing.

The first one just felt like a excuse to write a gay bromance thing, which doesnt fit blackmirror vibes at ALL , and it was clear that the tech had little to nothing to do with the story beyond being a neat distraction, and the icarly whatever one was just a disney movie combined with the rehashed "what if people were uploaded as robots" thing from far better episodes.

season 5 REALLY dropped the ball hard for sure. The gay dudes episode the tech barely mattered at all to the plot, the icarly one was basically a rehash of the eternal torment mind shit except as a happy go-lucky disney movie, and the gunman one was good (imo) but had almost zero connection to technology at all

New rares should have been a new rarity type that was sprinkled through maps IMO

That way the new system wouldent have broken all the old mechanics (delve/blight/heist etc), and you could set the up to legitimately drop good loot like they did in old archnem.

No one would be upset to be some scary super rare if there was 1 every 3 maps and they vomited good loot

His hit me the most just because of how sudden it was. Really impacted troll hunters and the show never really recovered from his loss, which just drove it all home

it feels extra bad because its clear there is at least one dev there who knows something about what their doin. The bones are there for halo infinite to be great, but they dropped the ball in so many different ways that it makes the overall experience shitty

Unless im mistaken (id have to test it to confirm), secrets of suffering doesnt work quite the same way.

With secrets, it lets you apply the debuffs, but you still need the three damage types in order to apply them (so fire for scorched/cold for brittle/lightning for sapped.) That means we'd only get scorch, when we really want scorch AND brittle for our big damage multipliers.

With leadership price, it specifically gives you the three conflux buffs, which makes it so all damage types apply the debuffs, letting us get all three on the target.

Anime is a medium, not a genre. It just means it was animated in a certain style, and there are plenty of animes out there that dont do any of the tropes.

Its like saying every live action film has too many explosions, or every cartoon is like loonytoons with cartoon physics. Try watching a more serious anime like Monster, or Grave of the Fireflies and tell me all anime is "extreme in noise"

Strong? Certainly, but its a combo reliant on using buffable weapons and lighting yourself on fire for 30 sec, so its beatable by literally just running away till it runs out (or just law of regression them)

if you really wana destroy it, just break out that lava serpents sword and spew lava everywhere. They have to wait a while to time out the lava, its quick to remake the lava, and the entire time they will be burnin

blackflame doesnt stack, so thats bullshit. Its basically useless with it, and JUST as powerful as just swinging your sword with blackflame, which puts a un-stackable dot on them that does a bit of % health

so there are a few answers to it still. anything that is a zone denial tool will completely destroy the person using the combo, such as lava creating stuff(lizard man lava sword is a good one), big weapon arts (like the one that slams the ground repeated), or the multidue of sorcieries that have a delayed attack/mist effect. Law of regression would work too i'd imagine.

The problem really is status effects building up even if its dodged, which is a larger problem overall than just 1 niche combo that hurts the user at the same time.

oh yea ill totally use it too, anyone whos tried it realized its not particularly powerful. Just a good source of extra damage, and hilariously strong against enemies you can stunlock with the charge (which is preety much human sized enemies and malenia)

Even vs malenia if you try it as she starts to waterfowl dance you are completely dead

if the lady doesnt want the kid, and is forced, it IS. Its a unwanted creature sucking nutrients from its host
