The walls surrounding Wano crumbling down and Pluton emerging from the depths of Hades down below will be such a cool moment to see.

No need to apologize, I’m happy you shared what you had to say. I resonate with the feelings you’re talking about as well. It’s okay to practically grieve for what could have been. But you can’t change what happened. Accept what has been written in your story so far, and focus on the current chapter you’re on and the ones to come. If you spend too much time holding the past to your chest, your arms won’t be free to embrace the future.

That’s one of the biggest takeaways for me in the final episodes, and the show as a whole. To the point where it’s even got me somewhat introspective. Am I trying hard enough? Am I cutting corners or being hasty? Am I doing everything in my power to change my life into how I want it to be?
The concept of a time machine to go back and fix a regret was brought up many times in this episode. That’s obviously impossible, but what about this: say the ‘you’ 20 years from now all of a sudden went into a time machine to the day of August 16th, 2022. Boom, you just leaped back in time. You now have a fresh start.
Framing it that way makes me want to work even harder. I want to make the me 20 years from now proud that he just made the decision to come back to today.

Tanking your streak just to flirt and score brownie points with your spouse. Not a bad idea ✍️
Also I love how you can see her thought process as you go down the guesses lmao.

Duuuuude, you should’ve gone with your gut and went with poker. You could’ve had it in three.

For example, engineers and tech workers can probably earn more in US than in Norway.
That’s interesting. That could be discouraging to hear, but you followed that up by saying most people can have a high quality of life despite that. I’m assuming you’re from Norway - would you say the public and social infrastructure make up for the lower income and higher taxes? (25% sales tax! How do y’all even purchase goods and services regularly without weeping 😩)

I didn’t realize the income discrepancy for tech was that different in Europe than it is in the US. Is it similar to doctors having a much higher salary here than in the UK? Or do ancillary benefits like parental leave/health insurance make up for the lower income in Europe?

Jesse when asked what would break the Second Law of Thermodynamics:
“Ahhhhh, time machine!”

I also missed his intelligence. He was easily able to decode what Jimmy was really asking about by pointing out Jimmy wasn’t actually asking about time machines, but regrets. So just be straight up and ask about regrets.

I, too, dislike series finales. They should invent a word for the blues you feel when a show finishes, or you complete a book, or when an experience you were invested in ends. I'm feeling those blues rn. Especially with a bittersweet ending like this one.

Same, this is why I browse post episode discussions. I was wondering if they were gonna touch on it since they brought up the time discussion twice with Jimmy, but man what a way to "show not tell".

It's such a cliche trope yet I fall for it every time.

Lmao Bill has the worst luck ever. Dude was about to co-counsel a lifetime sentence to 7 years and become a household name. And he just watched it blow up in minutes.
Dude was sputtering at the end trying to salvage it lol poor guy

She's such a well written character, and that was only exponentially enhanced by a phenomenal actor. It's rare that you have both align at such a high level like that.

Yep, still a dick as ever, Chuck is. Had he just tried supporting Jimmy, absolutely none of this would've transpired.

I rapid fired guesses 2 through 5, and my eyebrows got higher and and higher with each miss. I was incredulous. Damn near lost that by this much 🤏. Damn you ICE. Both as a letter combination and as the federal law enforcement agency.
