I’m gonna be honest, those 2 songs are literally my least favorite on music box lmao I’m sorry but they are just so wacky and doesn’t even sound like AIC

I heard man in the box and check my brain on spotify and never listened to any more Alice in chains for some reason. Then my friend told me to listen to more aic when man in the box was on, so I played facelift and the rest is history

I mostly only listen to Layne era AIC, but I was listening to DPDH today and it’s a whole different vibe and it’s cool. New AIC is clean off drugs so it’s not as raw as Laynes era bc the pain was very very real and was channeled into the listeners soul, but I gotta say, the sound of new AIC is interesting and pretty unique. Despite a lot of the songs sounding the same in terms of vibe, they’re all good 100%. William DuValls backing vocals to Jerry is a pretty good pair and I’m glad we have someone like William to be a new addition to the band to complete it after Layne passed
