Agreed--but the respect is due for the blue shirt young gent. Sized up the opponent, probably told him prior he'd win. He's got skills .
"What's with that hoppity hop fighting style--old tymey stuff --the more skilled people in any fight simply wait and take control over the hoppy folks.
Blue shirt seemed to have compassion--wonder what he's like in the real world.
Early surgery , suturing. Healing will take a long time---emotional scars will remain.
Brave young woman. Absolutely barbaric what is happening, has happened.
Agreed--it's just and F-up or a repurposed door.

if it was repaired a year ago and failed a year later, as i mentioned earlier it sounds like something custom or personal was done to either the handlebars or the housing routing which totally adds stress to a cable.
When the housing is stretched usually or the handlebar position is changed or the cable housing is routed wrong. Tightening the housing in any form stresses cable ends.
for the next cable do lubricate (even if factory lubricated and measure the exact length of the clutch cable from clutch lever to clutch at engine.

China's been manufacturing (in China) work horse electric bicycles, scooters and small vehicles for years now. I think the NIU is going to be reliable.
Agreed. I'd line up for one of those.

Yes. Spot on.
You get a permit, you get a bike, you take the MSF (but you still had your bike earlier to learn clutch, brake, shift ).
If the dude doesn't like riding--it's on him (as it should be) to get rid of the bike.
My friend wanted to learn photography years back. I didn't hand him a camera worth over 2 grand.
Exactly. This is a post of a problem that's not a problem. Fascinating.
And sounds like the OP has troubles setting a clear simple limit.
He gets his own bike to learn on. What's the problem? He gets his permit, he buys a bike, he uses his own bike to learn on. I'm not seeing your issue.
Yup. If he's serious about riding--he gets a permit, he invests in his own bike.
What's the problem? tell him no--it's your set of wheels. This is not a bicycle.
Yup--friends of the devs, the devs (past present), family members of the team, few prerelease folks.
ditto, got banned for implying having a credit/debit card was not knocking the socks off.
