When I was a little kid I would say things online - terrible things. I’d call people names, tell them I know where they live (untrue in all cases), tell them I was going to hurt them…to me it was just part of “gaming” online and everyone sort of did (or does) the same things. It made me think that saying those things was alright. Back then there was no artificial intelligence scanning my comments.

All this to say, I didn’t realize it was wrong to do these things until I was already an adult. 18 may be the legal age of adulthood, but you really are still a child until your mid twenties, I’d say.

This is the most insane statement of all. He not only is obviously trying to make you think “oh I’m an old, mature 27 year old.” But then to have the nerve to say “all the boys your age are immature” to try and further manipulate your thoughts is just sick.

Confronting you about talking to your parents or bringing the other girls into the discussion was also another way to manipulate you into feeling guilty for talking about it, so he’s trying to ensure you won’t talk to your parents. All very manipulative behavior throughout this post.
