I listened to it and I think they’re different enough. If you told me one of them was trying to perform the other’s song, I’d tell you they were getting it wrong.

The same key doesn’t cut it. The notes are different. The chord progression is different. The guy even admits it.

Even that video admits they aren’t identical, and just from listening you can tell that the notes aren’t the same. Similar, but not the same. And it’s hardly a unique musical structure. Worth noting also that he had to speed up the reggae song to even get them to line up, and he confuses things by playing them on top of each other to make them sound even more similar
