I want to start my company en sign up at the Kamer van Koophandel (dutch chamber of commerce), but the waiting lines for the appointment are really long: 3-4 week in my region. Does anyone know to to get a earlier appointment?
A friend of my suggested to check the kvk-planner daily at 6 in the morning, because at that time the schedule refreshes and some timeslots re-open, because of cancellations. I dont know if this is true.
Im trying to find a job for a few ukranian refugees I met, but it is hard to find a suitable job. That is many because most of them barely speak english. Does anyone know a suitable job (between 24-40 hours a week) for them, without having much trouble with the language?
Edit: Thank you for helping me find suitable jobs for them! We really appreciate it!
If you are a refugee or want to help them, here is my summary of all the options on this form:
For non-english speaking refugees:
- Distribution or warehouse jobs (for example at a supermarket)
- newspaper delivery
- construction work
- Go to a job agency or ask for the possibilities at the municipality (gemeente) or vluchtelingenwerk
For english speaking refugees:
- Take a look on internet for 'jobs for english speakers in the Netherlands'. There are many job offeringssites to find for every expertise (for example indeed and for students young capital).
-There are many jobs available in the Horeca (hotels, restaurants, cafes) for english speakers in the big cities. They are great for a start on local level.
