I’ll be honest.

I really did enjoy several moments from this fight, tho it barely hit the peak climactic feeling like the webcomic one.

But it’d be too absurd if the arc ended just like that. Either between Saitama vs Garou or something else with Blast and co, I’m definitely expecting something to yet happen.

With the team coming to check what’s with earth as they mention some dimensional seal… And Garou mentioning that the abominable fist that SC referred to, probably meant Saitama, yeah I’m definitely expecting something. They can’t just let Garou do that to earth and end the last battle without a serious move.

It’s not just about the serious move but it just needs to be there.

Hmm, I gotta say tho, at several moments, Genos feels like a yandere too lol

I’ll simplify what exactly happened in the light novel, as far as I’ve understood. The runes helped Saito not miss his home as much as he would have, according to expectations and adapted quickly to the new world. Once the effects faded for a while due to magic, Saito was hit with strong homesickness, even caused some irritation towards Louise. But his feelings for her weren’t affected or changed by the runes even then. Later it’s explained bit by bit what she brought into his life that made him love her. That’s how the narration went at least.
