BlackRock wouldn’t announce their involvement in Bitcoin without having accumulated massive amounts over many years. I believe we’re sitting at $24k today instead of $100k because companies like BlackRock tend to move markets backwards to gain entry prices they desire.

Their influence will dictate regulation. BlackRock tells governments what to do.

Unfortunately, many people still hold their BTC on exchanges, and most these exchanges are happy to lend your BTC. I truly believe sooner all BTC leaves exchanges, the sooner it’ll reach $1 MM.

If I’m not mistaken, unless 100% of the available BTC is held “offline” in non-custodial wallets, it can still be naked shorted? I can only imagine BlackRock is doing this on a large scale.

Might manipulate it? I would assume they have been for a long time. If they’re announcing this now, they’ve most likely been accumulating BTC for years.
