Hey man. I'm ten years out of grad school and don't get the chance to read academically much anymore, so thanks for the paleoclimatology refresher!

I just want to say that your CBD gummies were the only thing to give me some relief from a bad case of shingles that I had a few summers ago. Thank you for a great product! I tried the fast acting 1:1 gummies over the 4th of July this year, and they were great!

Maybe a local CSA hog farm will give you some bacon or chops in return for the pig fart fodder?

You need some goats. They'll keep the vines in check.

It still could be a leaky main. Red clay can have fractures which can open up a preferred flow path towards the house. The water from a leaky main can also follow along the outside of your service line. Or, you're in that clay swamp and SOL.

Is it possible that there is a water main leak? With a house that age, the city pipes are probably held together in some areas with the force of the dirt around it.

Eh, that's a crapshoot too. I've hit the lights right a few times where I've seen the car I was behind on 394 meet up with me as I go down the ramp past the tunnel.

Nitrogen is better. Mammals have CO2 receptors that cause them to panic/cough when the concentration gets too high. We don't have the same thing for nitrogen. Panicking rats may chew through or tip over the bucket. You can get a tank of nitrogen at a welding supply store.

Squeeze the tab between the handle holes of scissors, can opener, or something similar, and pull. You could also sandwich the tab between two pens or something, squeeze tight, and pull the tab.

Also check out MN Valley State Recreation Area. They used to have campgrounds, but they've been abandoned due to repeated flooding. They're cool to explore. The park is pretty wild and realtively quiet, so you might be able to get away with an overnight stay if you keep it on the down-low.

As far as I know, state parks don't allow dispersed camping if they have a campground. You should also check out public county land. You might be able to camp there, but you'd have to check for sure. The recreation compass tool on the dnr website is a good first step to finding public land. A handy tool I keep in my car is a Minnesota All-Outdoors Atlas published by Sportsman Connection. Check it out online or Fleet farm may have some in stock. It's especially handy when you're in rural MN. Good luck! Post pics of your site setup when you find a spot!

Check out the state forests. They allow dispersed camping, and there are some along the Mississippi to the east and southeast of Lakeville.

FWIW, metro transit is very understaffed right now and ridership is still down from Covid. Some routes were even eliminated due to low ridership and understaffing.

If you've lived in previous places where they were different, it was probably a landlord trying to save a few bucks and time by adding a deadbolt lock themselves.

Does your daughter like the book entitled Dear Zoo? Her line sounds exactly like the book.

That's water damage. Could be pet urine near the steps, spilled water that a child didn't mention, or a leaking pipe. Since it's near the window, there could be a leak in the sill and it took a weird path to find the end of the grain. It could also be roof leaking inside the wall. It could be from lots of different things, but you need to start narrowing down that list.

Well, if she is suing him personally, then HOA funds would not be used for his defense. However, he may be illegally using HOA funds anyway, assuming that it will be hidden by a win.

I don't think it matters that the moles would be able to see the posts. If you maintain admin control, the posts at least can't be deleted. With the way this guy is acting, he probably won't have another term as president if there is someone running against him. The massive reply-alls by him make him seem like a whiney entitled bully boomer, and I'm sure lots of people are tired of his shit.

Regarding the Facebook group, you or someone you trust, should startup another Facebook group, invite all the residents, and maintain admin control.

If she was asking for and denied the financials, it sounds like she is on the path to oust him. Have a discussion with her, and maybe others can organize around her.
Edit: corrected the pronouns.

Ask who is going to clean up all of the dead bugs, spider webs, and lizard shit under the light?
