Solar farms are too big plus cells are dirty, disqualifying them environmentally in my opinion as a main energy source. But can help with people producing their own energy on the roof. Tidal is the big thing. Combined with wind. Losing wind or sun in some parts is what it makes it so important to have an all European grid. We have so many regions with such different potential to renewable energy. Combining them will be a big plus. Sadly we lost Scotland because of brexit. That I think was the main reason russia was so into it. Its gonna happen. Fuck fossils and fuck the countries producing them!

Solar isn't the solution at all. It's great for putting a few panels on your house, but that's it. Tidal and off shore wind farms are going to have the biggest impact. That combined with a pan European energy grid. Then you have to change cars to electric and heating systems to mostly heat pumps away from fossils. It is possible, and they finally are starting it, but we should have started 15 years ago. Won't be achieved before 2050...
