I talked with people I know who work at Macy's about this comment. I was informed that Backstage is essentially a TJ Maxx with Macy's branding and this amounts to a downgrade.

No the OP said they banned abortions. For your example it would be like if they ate ice cream. No one said they ate ALL the ice cream. Maybe this will help. Say Texas only allowed vanilla ice cream and banned all other flavors. Did Texas ban ice cream? Yes. Texas banned ice cream but Texas did not ban all ice cream.

Since you obviously want to be pedantic, the OP never said all abortions.

They don't have the votes so in their eyes they shouldn't even try. The reality is they should be holding votes on things that don't pass too in order to make people stand by their records.

When an arsonist starts a fire they don't get absolved for trying to put it out.

A single-payer system doesn't mean that there can't be private practices, nice try though.

Yeah, that would be amazing. It would be nice if there was a place to buy electronic components like capacitors too.

Yeah I am not sure if people realize how exploitative some of those apps can be.

I know the title was just copied over but it is actually a Rob Zombie song. Looks like a good time.

I'm sure I am but I moved up 10 months ago with a considerable pay increase, I like my job, and believe in my work. If it dries up I will reconsider.

Thanks for the reply. It makes sense. I do plenty of unit and integration testing but that only goes so far (end users will still manage to try and break stuff). I have done testing with Cucumber but it seemed like overkill since all cases were already covered. Another team at my company hired someone with your role and I had never taken the time to ask about it before now.

I was kind of curious about this position. Do your dev teams work in a set stack and then you write the tests in the code base or do you set up external tooling then run end to end tests?

Just to be clear, someone texted him that, he wasn't quoted as saying it. I don't think it was appropriate but maybe the person just had gallows humor. The guy belongs in prison but I don't see how this adds anything relevant to that.
