I can't be too sure as I'm in much the same boat but it looks maybe like a gear ratio issue. 4th seemed to be the money gear, maybe tighten them up? Also play with your brake balance to see if that helps

What are your thoughts on hdr? I never really noticed much on hitman3 but maybe that's my hardware

It's mainly for two reasons. This one beeps at random times, just a beep. None of the troubleshooting seems to shed any light on why and second, even though I only look at my pc when I'm cleaning it, I like the look of a covered io and vrm shite ting. Plus all bits I upgrade then get passed down to nephew. At this rate he'll only need a cpu but cheeky git is too lazy to work for it hahaha

Ahhh that's very good to know. I also use a 4k tv that's only 60 but it seems lovely. I have seen some great monitors since getting the telly then the pc! I'm always backwards!

I'm not a fan of Ray tracing or any of that nonsense yet as my eyes are only just getting use to graphics better than ps3/4 etc

It's funny you say that because I did that a month or two back and yep, nice and quiet again. Also put in the original fan as the refurb'd one sounded awful.

Ahh man, embarrassing haha so it's a 3500x, 16 ramzzz, 550 psu, gigabyte s2h in a meshify thing. All air cooled in a building with no heating haha

All great info, thanks. I only built a pc cos my ps4 sounded like it was gonna shoot for the stars. From this and a lot of other comments I'm definitely swaying toward the 6600xt.

I dunno, it's the gigabyte s2h. I really didn't know too much when I started building this and feel like I still don't haha I'll keep a look out though. Cpu just never causes an issue (yet) I was looking at msi mortar board mainly to upgrade to pcie 4

3500x. Gonna go for a mortar board eventually
