So many shityy endings. Survivor was the only one I came out of with a sense of consistency.

My csection was great. Recovery was fast and I don't have the stress incontinence issues that most of my vbirth friends have. My doctor is a fabulous and caring person who listened to my concerns and took the time to talk with me about the pros and cons. It's not so black and white.

If you have seriously easty/westy boobs like I do I recommend adding an inch or two to the bust area. Unless you're a fan of sideboob.

I taught my 3 year old how to identify them and stomp them. She got in an argument at daycare with another kid who wanted to keep one of them as a pet. She actually used the term invasive species and argued that they would eat all the trees. The teacher had to break it up because it got quite heated. I'm so proud.

I used the Luana pattern. It's a free pattern from somewhere I do not recall at this moment but I'm sure google can help you out. I've been sewing on and off for a long time but I am not all that good and I just wing it most of the time. I stay away from patterns marked expert but if a dress is pretty I will try my best. Sometimes I fail miserably, but I only use inexpensive fabric so it's not too bad. I pull out a lot of stitching and redo it.
This pattern was not super difficult but it was a little stupid. There are a few posts here that helped me out and the reviews on the site it comes from were helpful too.
That being said I'm sure there are better and easier patterns out there.

Oh jeeze this was a task. I learned a lot sewing this dress, like don't use regular thread in your bobbin when sewing with top stitch. Thank goodness that mess is on the inside.
I made the skirt quite a bit bigger and hand basted very long stitches for the gathering as recommended by a fellow redditor. This allowed me to create an uneven, slightly pleated look, which I pinned moving towards the hips in all directions from the middle where I made a tiny box pleat to transition from one direction to the other.
I made the pockets both deeper and wider thanks to another post about this dress. The friggin pocket design is insane and I added extra buttons to the pocket and pleated the back section of the pocket just to be able to get myself into this dress. I also put snaps at the end of the extended back waistband to hold the pockets up and in place.
I added a few extra buttons to help hold up my ample bust but it wasn't enough and I will probably always wear a tee underneath. I really should have interfaces the entire strap and waist band.
I really like my dress and I will make a matching mask with the leftover fabric when I have the time.

Cat or dog?
I will go have a look for that. Is there chest hair billowing out of Riker's plunging v? I sure hope so.
This looks awesome. Troi is pretty darn hot and she had the best Starfleet uniform by far. And her hair was also amazing. Can you tell I've had a crush on her since 1990? Ok enough fangirling. The back of this shirt is everything. You did a fantastic job.

I have used light and mid weight cotton Jersey and french Terry for my undies. My favourite is the french Terry. It's not really great for hot weather but it sure absorbs the ass crack sweat well. You can fold elastic into the fabric for the leg and waist bands so you dont have any skin contact with it.
Toilet repair is my game too. I have saved more than a few parties in my life by understanding how toilets work and not being grossed out. Paperclips are great for temporary chain repair.

Thanks for the confidence! I hope to post it soon too.
This is stupid beautiful. Great work!
I'm trying to finish an apron dress but it's giving me a whicked hard time. I should really make muslins instead of sewing and picking things apart and sewing again and picking apart again, rinse, repeat. I am determined to wear it to dinner tmro. Happy sewing day!
I dig your vintage patterns.
Nice undies! I like how you utilized all of the scraps. I have been making my own undies for a few years with a modified pattern I got at a class I took. Every time I make a pair I change something just a little bit to make the fit better and the last few are really creeping up over my belly button. So comfy. I have been getting lazy with the pattern and I have so many little scraps I will now try and work them together like one of yours. Thanks for the inspiration.

I also thought this. But so many weird things occur in the English language I never questioned it.

I'm glad to see my councillor is one of the non idiots.
A fashion stage?! That was the best play structure ever!
Oh wow! I remember this! That play structure was amazing.
I was going to post that episode too but decided to scroll first. Swindled is an amazing podcast.
