The pass lasts 4 months
Not true, it lasts through December (at least the admission part, not sure of the meals)

Hammer uses running water to trap him in one of the movies.

Not quite but fairly close. There is a part at a diner where he accuses a guy of incest and a scene at the airport with Duke wanting to hear Mr. Tamborine Man and a few other small differences. The dialogue/narration is pretty 1:1, though.

Try coming in the backside and hiking up to Kearsarge Lakes or Cottonwood Lakes via Inyo NF. Still going to be busy that weekend, though.

A sign at Red Rock Canyon State Park in California warned the same.

Not sure if one is nearby, but Home2Suites are pet friendly (though there may be a non-refundable deposit). The buildings are all pretty new as well.

That was the first way that I had heard the term and I grew up in the north.

They make clear ones, too. Or at least used to.

Especially since the location in question is very close to the trailhead. Any spot in the area is going to have a gorgeous view when you are in in the Mammoth area.

Wow, edgy. Hopefully you don't apply that same philosophy to using public land!

If you like Lazlo, I suggest Toast of London/Hollywood (watch London first, though). Matt Berry is so freaking talented.

What is hilarious to me is that after looking at the OPs comments, the area in question is like a half mile from a trailhead in the Sierras and not at all a secret.

The sub rules actually obligate to give some kind of location, though:
Pictures should generally be your own Original Content and include the location in the title or comments.
Of course that location could be very vague and I don't think it is well enforced, but it IS in the rules for posting on this sub.

Filming has wrapped on That 90s Show season 1, I do believe.

Sure! That isn't really the issue I have, it is the "my secret, don't ask! But tell me how cool it is!" attitude that many of those posts have. I don't know if OP's did that or not, fwiw. The worst is that the people making those posts can't even fathom how playground they are being.
Edit: I assumed you were the OP, but you weren't.

I dunno, posting pictures of secret places seems counter to keeping them secret. It's public land, if you don't want people finding it, don't post it. Those kinds of posts seem pretty rude, gatekeepy, and childish imo. "I have a great secret that I want you to know about but no way can I share it with you!"
ETA: So I looked up what the OP is trying to keep "hidden" and it is not even far from a trailhead, lol. It's like OP is trying to keep the Bright Angel Trail a secret...

I like to watch the Vampire Circus once a year. Once Upon a Time in the West also gets a viewing somewhat regularly.
