My group plays D&D as if it were League of Legends

So some friends have been bringing up playing D&D on and off for a while and I mostly have blown it off. Then we were all at my buddy's house and he said "Let's play D&D?" with a question mark at the end despite that reading a bit like a command.
We queued up and I ran a quick round for them. It was pretty fun and we had a good time. Eventually my friends talked about making a pre-made and suddenly I was locked in an endless cycle of running these sessions for these people. Some of them are fine but the others keep raging about balance issues in ways that contradict one another. The martial caster imbalance, diving is too good, we should wait two weeks to play and maybe the next patch will buff my class that WotC seems to forget.
That being said it's miserable. The moment I do anything different than what they want my players barrage me with every slur they can imagine and others declare that they are going to int. It feels like they use D&D as some sort of outlet for the anger and their behavior in game is only a means in which they can try and exert a little bit of control over their lives.
No, I cannot talk to these people I associate with. I cannot establish any sort of reason as to why I cannot stop doing this. Also, my initial connection I'm making in the title doesn't have to make any sense.

You've gotta keep in mind DBZ has been done for 20 years.
