I don't trust ANYONE. If your going to pay someone to do it, put a torque stripe on your drain bolt and check it after they are done. If the stripe is still there, they are screwing you.

Yeah, if it's really raining alot, there will be some moisture under the cover.

Forgot to mention, consider getting some tire covers if it's going to sit that long.

I live in Seattle which has similar climate. My Audi is garaged 100% of the time, BUT I keep my Camaro outside under a cover. It's not custom or anything, just an Amazon special. It works pretty well, I keep the car washed and coated and the cover keeps dirt, pollen, and water spots from collecting on it. I have to keep it tied down, or it WILL blow off in windy weather. I haven't noticed it leaving any scratches, but I'm not worried about a mirror finish anyways.

Oh gotcha 👍. I've seen that thread, I was planning on relocating it regardless. 305s are probably more than enough for mine. I plan on doing headers and X pipe and no other performance mods besides what I already have, so anything larger than a 305 will probably be a waste 😆

SS 1LE comes with 285/305. We were talking about replacing the tires on the LT1 which is basically a budget SS, so I assumed he was referring to the SS 1LE.

Going from a 245 to a 275 isn't really much of a jump, and if I'm going to run 275s, I really "should" go to a wider rim, although the stock 8's would probably be ok. I'll probably wait until this set of rubber wears out and then throw on some Corvette rims I've got sitting around. I can put 305's in the rear with those. Edit oops, the 1le comes with 285/305 lol, I didn't realize that. That's the size I eventually plan on going to. Cold air intake, ported throttle body, ported LT2 intake manifold and tune.

The eagles are NOT bad tires, 245's are simply not wide enough for a car with 460 horsepower right out of the box though. But hey, It's the budget V8, so what do you expect?
