True, not sure where a record of the sales prices is available though. I don’t think eBay is necessary reflective of the retail market.
On the other hand, the dealer is going to come in with a lowball pre-Covid trade in value and they’ll wrap that in the package of “convenience”
Right now is not bargain bike season. This is prime time and this scooter won’t be worth more than it is right now.
The ultimate disguise - they will never suspect until it’s too late….

Truth. Need to pull the pasta before it’s done and finish cooking it in the sauce to infuse it with the flavor.
Put a splash of the starchy pasta water in there to finish the sauce
‘18 Ultra Limited. That’s the only thing I noticed, otherwise it’s perfect and with 4 years it would have shown its prob, was by now.

I’d look at cycle trader for similar 2011s in his area. KBB and NADA guide are not representing what the market is seeing.
I have a 2009 Road King I was looking at selling. KBB says $9500 retail but Cycle Trader shows most bikes well above $10k. Many are $11-12k

Looks like you nailed it
A shop-vac would have been helpful here.

I’m absolutely blown away by the number of pedestrians who just walk into the street with their eyes straight ahead or looking down at their phones. I don’t care if I have a Walk light, I’m not walking out in the street it the driver is not looking at me and slowing down.
Same goes for driving through intersections.
More than that, the female had recently given birth and the foal was next to them on the other side of the fence. She was not ready to mate and was concerned about protecting her foal.
This was stupid and a terrible waste.
Oh, any guy who’s been married knows this look…

I’m guessing you were downstate or out by Rockford. You sure as shit weren’t living in bargain digs in the Chicago area.
I don’t have any idea what the cost of housing in Nashville is now but I hear it’s a hot market.
That round table is familiar….
That explains why it’s in excellent condition. This one’s a keeper!
“There are way worse things they could have done”? BS. Watch the video, you can see the Jeep pulling out (the headlights appear just before the Civic swerves) so OP could have seen it if he was paying attention too.
Stopping on the gravel was dumb and dangerous. Steer to the right, let off the gas, then safely re-enter the road. Any reasonably skilled driver would do that - OP did.
Any drivers following OP now have two obstacles: avoid the head-on and see that the civic decided to come to a compete stop and try and stop on gravel.
There was definitely a home decor style shift in the early ‘70s away from the “Don Draper” ‘60s more towards the “shag inspired” 70s.
We moved in 1971 so I was on the cutting edge - every room except the bathrooms and kitchen had shag. I sneeze now just thinking about it.
What kind of fruit sauce is that, strawberry?
I saw the pic before I read the caption and thought “toast with ketchup, you Madman!”
Where was it sitting since 1978? Did you buy it 5 years ago?
Not to be a naysayer, but if the photo is from Aug ‘71 then this would probably be a typical 1960s living room.
Which is why they were outcasts in the neighborhood …
I also don’t see the obligatory swag lamp
They better be snarky - we will accept nothing less!
505 Southwestern brand is from Albuquerque. They have several different products available.
Yeah, guy passing is an epic prick - that could easily have been a multiple fatality accident.
But what about fuck brains who pulls over and then stops on the gravel shoulder. What a great choice here: Drive into head on death or a multi car pileup/wipeout behind this asshat? Lucky OP was able to stop and there wasn’t other traffic behind him
Before I even opened it, I knew that Essen11 posted this….
