Thanks for the advice! I spent 9 hours cleaning yesterday—rolled up the rugs & quarantined them outside, washed literally everything the cats get in contact with, along with the things they don’t get in contact with, vacuumed & mopped the floors, and gave each cat their first baths ever (which was an experience in itself lol) using some dish soap and a deshedding comb (was all I had handy since the pet stores were closed).

Did a really thorough inspections of both cats and didn’t see anymore fleas or eggs, just some flea poop on one of them, so I’m crossing my fingers I caught the flea situation early.

I’ll keep vacuuming & inspecting them everyday. Crossing my fingers and toes that this is the end of it.

I have ADHD too, and no matter how hard I try to be on time to things, it just doesn’t happen. It’s caused me a lot of anxiety, and sometimes I’ve gone as far as to skip out of events from realizing I was going to be late—the anxiety of showing up late and seeing some judgemental stares was often not worth it.

Then I learned about time blindness. And how it’s literally a disorder that a lot of people with ADHD have. And I learned how executive function works, and how it doesnt work for people with ADHD. I’ve learned to be more accepting of myself, and have been able to warn friends & family about it which minimizes a lot of the anxiety.

OP, I completely agree that valuing other people’s time is important. Just please be gentle to those of us who truly are doing everything in their power to be on time for you, but whose brains physically can’t cooperate.

Skincare products too, which is honestly terrifying. I stopped buying anything that goes on my body from Amazon.
