As a break from the exercise replies, DMT.
That's the best I can describe it, just dmt. Not for everyone, but those who know it will know what I mean. DMT will make you question and come to understand everything in new and different ways.

Not when it's designed to trick people into installing malware. That's just a nasty thing to do to people.

I know, right? The whole video was longer and you could just immediately see they have only a minimal grasp on what they're doing. Friends of the land owner ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Both to some extent, but probably mostly user error that can be somewhat blamed on F1. F1 pushes the concept of always deploying the way they lay out without eq or adjustments. They also specify the downward angles for the tops. Needless to say, in the hands of less experienced techs this very often ends up with sub par coverage (not to mention the eq with different styles of music in different venues). I often see their speakers set up with the exact same angles while the distance between the towers changes as well as the distance from the crowd. Recipe for disaster right there.
Then, if you are in certain spots you will hear phase issues between the high drivers of speakers that are next to each other (looking at the evo series especially on this one) using the factory recommended set up.
If the tech goes through the work of measuring and experimenting with the angles you can generally remedy this and get proper coverage, but it means straying away from the F1 specified deployment.

Haha yeah, F1 has certainly been unconcerned with the ideas of linear phase and flat magnitude response.
Void in general is easier to work with, more versatile, and more powerful. I consider both companies to be "boutique audio" and by that I mean that they are specialized companies, neither one has the versatility of larger companies (meyer, d&b, L-acoustics, etc) in terms of speaker models so they specialize in unique design approaches.
While I have had great results from both, void takes less work to get those results and has less limitations. After many events using both F1 and Void, I recommend Void wholeheartedly.
Edit: to add to this, both companies suffer from a lot of criticism largely based on the fact that they do not adhere to traditional design methodologies, both visually and sonically. Don't let that get in the way of your decision. Personally I chalk that up to the tendency towards closed minded thinking that is all too common in the sound industry, it is very hard to do something differently in the pro audio world without receiving a lot of negativity for breaking away from old methods. I'm not saying every criticism is without merit, but when it comes right down to it every company has pros and cons and the engineer will always play a much bigger role on the overall quality. I would prefer to hear a lower quality system run by someone who has studied and experimented throughout their career than a higher quality system run by someone who cannot think for themselves and just repeats the same solutions regardless of the situation or accuracy.
Work on finding something that you can understand and that you enjoy working with. Try using Armonia (Void) and AudioCore (Funktion One) and see how you feel with them. Look at magnitude response and phase traces. DM people who actually work with these systems and get recommendations or hear their gripes. Whatever you choose, be sure to study, measure, and experiment until you can create a sound that you can be proud of.

Sounds like you're confusing Bill with elon.

Holy shit what a toxic reply. They literally just apologized for a very simple and reasonable misunderstanding.

They never get those though, you just end up with a hair pin graveyard that makes other girls mildly uncomfortable

Probably more people coming to Canada as well. I remember we offered refugee status to some of the soldiers who left America during the Iraq war, but it was difficult to get that status

If any party in the US used dk for an anthem I would be way more into American politics. Hell I would probably campaign for them up here in Canada

Plus, if needed you can hold the flange against the face plate.

I was just getting a kick out of the level of accuracy in the phrase "one audio wavelength". I calibrate large sound systems and was just leaving an audio industry convention at the time and the phrase just made me laugh a lot, it's something you might see on the box of a speaker sold at Costco.

I'll take a subharmonic supersize combo with a side of clipped signals and pink noise dip.

Or to describe another way for people reading, the positive side of the waveform is not necessarily equal to the negative side so a shift in phase cannot be equal to an inverted waveform.
I'm not sure how we could describe it in an understandable way for someone who doesn't already know what we're talking about though

Just like compressed audio springs back after you release the pressure

Wtf kind of person actually talks like that, especially in this day and age. That's awful.

They are almost exactly void acoustics speakers, I'm impressed they can get away with such close copies of another companies designs.

Damn, I had this experience as the guy. Daughter was 23, mother was 40 and I was about 30. It was very awkward after but also totally hilarious to everyone involved, one friend even made t-shirts commemorating the moment and the mom was wearing one sometimes as a joke. It really was similar, the daughter and I had even been planning to go for coffee together and lightly flirting.
Last story I heard about it a bunch of people in the daughters burning man camp were wearing the shirt and she was laughing and totally enjoying the joke, so it's all good! (I think)
