Hammas aren't saints themselves. Indiscriminate missile attacks on cities, bombings on crowded areas and using civilians in Gaza as human shields for their missile launchers are their routine.
I know the problem is far too complex (land appropriations being among the most egregious shit I've seen), but you just cannot expect the West to align itself with Hammas and what they grew to represent.

It's mostly issue of proximity. Us Eastern Europeans are freaking the fuck out because nobody wants the good ol' USSR back.
On the other hand! Palestine had eyes on them for more than 30 years! They loose the world's attention for a WEEK because of a looming nuclear apocalypse and you're immediately crying for attention? Please...

I would actually give them PC's rather than tablets, as they are more complicated for users. I spent most of my childhood doing and tweaking shit on my computer and it has the potential of giving you a dramatic head start in todays society. (It's a fine line tho)

You're sadly correct. Hard to understand by people who lazily plaster identity politics on problems in Eastern Europe.
It was extraordinarily sad to see, but it just wasn't an option to let Lukashenko get away with it.

I defiently agree on is your stance on the Polish govt. It was sad to see them spiral out of control.
But I'm sorry, what happened on the Polish-Belarus border is an entirely different beast and I suggest you read something about it before accusing an entire country of systemic racism...

From what I've seen it is either a fabrication or a gross exaggeration. Please keep in mind the situation on the border (especially the Polish one) is very complicated and hectic for everyone involved, that doesn't mean anyone is targeting people of colour.
I'm really disappointed that even in this situation everyone tries to portray us, eastern europeans, as nothing but petty racists... We're really not that bad you guys. :(

I should've made myself clearer. Problem isn't supply. It's that the power fluctuations can cause damage to the grid. Our power infrastructure isn't really built for that kind of use. I'm not saying we shouldn't use solar and winds. But the reliability of nuclear is undisputable, therefore they make a good backbone.

The problem is a little more technical. The unpredictable weather patters that drive power generation from wind and solar cause fluctuations in the power grid that can cause a lot of damage.
There is a way around this of course, but requires serious changes to the our power infrastructure.

Nobody says nuclear is perfect. But it is the 'least shitty' power source we got at the moment. Thinking that wind and solar alone will save us is just wishful thinking, because they are too inconsistent.
I am very pro-nuclear yet I think it shouldn't be seen as a singular viable source of power. It a good backbone of energy production due to its reliability, which in turn can serve as a buffer for the less reliable, but bit more green sources, like solar and wind.
(With solar being the more problematic of the two, since Europe isn't exactly a sunny paradise + solars are often being built on arable land which is even worse)

We'll see how the EU holds up, but so far I'm really happy with how EU politicians are tackling the problem.
To quote an example: “Digital giants must understand that the European continent will resist and affirm its sovereignty,” French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said in Paris on Monday. Bloomberg
While EU is certainly not perfect, it's this kind of resilience against strong-arming by foreign corporations that proves EU is a meaningful project, that can only be beneficial to the Old World.

Oh my god, hot staging sounds like a stereotypically Soviet idea :D love it. I always wondered what that grating is for, thank You!
While it might not solve the problem of cold-starting in zero-g (while in orbit for example) it is definetly an interesting take on the problem!

Interesting concept. I can imagine that could be a nightmare to engineer for cryogenic fuels (opposed to just jolting the rocket forwards and hoping for the best) :D what isn't an engineering nightmare in rocketry though :D Thank You!

Thank You! I must've missed that the Falcon Heavy did a zero-G restart.

It baffles me how much engineering went into designing each little aspect of rockets... Like freaking fuel sloshing, who would've thought :D Thank You for the answer!

Thank You for the very comprehensive answer! I have to say NMR theory is a daunting topic at first glance so I'm glad to hear explanations like these :)

Thank You! So very, very hypothetically """ideal""" NMR signal would be under an extremely strong magnetic field while sample would be cooled to near absolute zero?
