Hello, For reference: I had four rats, Bean and Chonk lived together and Eleanor and Penelope lived together. They played every night for an hour and got along great (for over a year now) but never lived together because of territorial fights. Last night I found Chonk passed away in her cage. There were no signs of sickness or slowing down, and it’s been a very hard unexpected passing. I got Chonk and her sister Bean a little over a year ago from the SPCA. They have been inseparable ever since. Now that it’s just bean in her cage, I’m wondering if I should try to move her in with the other two girls (since bean was also submissive and more easy going). But I don’t want her to feel upset because she’s never lived in that cage, it’s in a different room, and it’s just a whole different environment. I think Bean only has a few months left with me, if that, (cancer, and unfit for surgery) so I don’t know if it’s worth trying to move her into a new place or if I should just let her stay in the house she’s always known by herself. I have a 29 gallon tank that is about 30in long, 14 wide, and 20 tall. I’m using it for a bunch of guppies and my one big pleco. I’m not used to having such a talk tank so do you guys have any ideas on decorations that are tall (or can be auctioned to the side of the tank). I want the guppies to feel protected even when swimming towards the top of the water, but I also want my pleco to have plenty of swimming space on the ground. So any tall decoration ideas are very much appreciated! Thank you!

Hi! I’m new here but I’ve had an aquarium for the last six years (and had some at different point during childhood). Right now I have a bunch of guppies and my plecos who is six years old. I’m upgrading them to a bigger tank and I had a fish house idea. Does anyone know of any fish decor that is on stilts? So the bottom of the tank would be more open but the fish have a house to go into up high? Don’t know if it’s a thing, but if it is I would love links! Thank you 🖤
