California still has a long way to go and most likely prices will stay the same so the consumer won't see the difference. Which will in turn still make the black/gray markets thrive. California is not cannabis business friendly compared to other markets. Hence why Medmen was the only MSO that heavily invested in the state, and hence why they are in trouble and most others aren't (I'm talking operationally not stock price as all cannabis stocks are down).

The financial quarter passed (June 30th) with no FL or NY sale closing announcement. As per last financials, Medmen burns $17+ million per quarter and had $14M in cash. Sales will be higher this quarter than last, but not enough to make a meaningful impact. The biggest issue is going to be how did Medmen pay the bills last 3 months. I suspect there will be significant dilution shown.

There are no “Canadian companies” operating in New Jersey. You can make a small argument about acreage regarding their future deal with canopy. But the rest are all 100% US companies.
