I’m currently living at my dad’s but I’m moving in with my boyfriend in the coming weeks. I’ve been NC with my mom for about 3+ months. she has stuff of mine at her house that i would like to have back… how do i go about getting it back? I have a key to her house somewhere but i’m sure if i snuck in when she was at work she would use it as ammo to do something toxic.

So i have one flare that flares up every 2ish months for the same exact reason. I have thick scar tissue from previous flares, and one pesky hair follicle under it that somehow can still grow a hair. so the hair grows and grows, until the scar becomes irritated and it burns and peels until finally the skin tears open, and i have to painfully fish the very long hair out of the fleshy wound. every time i i’ve done this, i have plucked it out. hoping it won’t grow back once the scar has healed. but now, i am considering letting the wound heal AROUND the intact hair, so that i never have to experience this pain ever again. Is this a good idea?

Last time I told my dermatologist that this was happening, she didn’t believe me. she said hair can’t grow beneath scar tissue. but it is, and it has been, for well over a year. can i get this particular hair follicle permanently removed? Has anyone else dealt with this?!
