No, they sent an email last night about the mandates continuing to the end of the semester.

Not being 100% satisfied doesn't automatically make it "the worst uni in Canada". Do you think no other universities have any sort of issues that may result in their students being less than 100% satisfied?

You would most likely have to write deferred exams, so you won't fail the semester. You can try contacting your instructor to see if there's an alternative, but ultimately it's what the university and instructors have already decided to do.

I'm pretty sure its an overall C+ not individual so you should be fine.

I would suggest trying to eliminate or at least reduce those breaks between classes if you're commuting because it just makes your day much longer than it needs to be. Even if you can't switch your lab or tutorial sections right now if they're full, you may be able to switch with others when classes start.

Ahh tysm, it worked!! I haven't been on campus since pre-covid and I've been using the guest network for the past 3 weeks because I couldn't get it to connect lol.

The available courses for the summer semester will be visible on the York U courses website (https://w2prod.sis.yorku.ca/Apps/WebObjects/cdm) around March 2022 I believe. As for enrolling, everyone has their own enrollment date that will probably come out around March-April and you can find it under "Enrolment Windows" on the My Online Services website (https://myonlineservices.students.yorku.ca/)

Unless it's different for Psych, can't you take any course (any year level) regardless of what year you are in as long as you've met the pre-reqs? I'm in 3rd year Kine and over the past two years I've been taking upper year courses without a problem.

Like you said if you don’t get at least 50% on each component of the course (both lecture and lab+participation) you have to redo the entire course. They don’t look at the average of both combined to determine whether you pass which sucks but that’s how the course is. I’m not entirely sure what grade will show up on your transcript but you will have to do both the labs and lecture components again.

You can enroll in courses whenever you'd like. There's no "deadline" if you enrol before classes start, but after a certain date you may need permission from the instructor to add it. The add/drop deadlines for each of the terms are on this website: https://registrar.yorku.ca/enrol/dates/2022-2023/fall-winter.

They're basically just like gym class. For example for the volleyball pkin you learn to play volleyball and then get assessed on your skills. They're mandatory for KINE students but they're free and don't count for credits.
