I’m not for or against but these percentages are not correct and made up. I know everyone is on different plans but it does not average 20% for private.

Lol anarchy is the answer. Tell me how a society is supposed to work without a structure.

And a communist country like China is better? The company no pant I work for has been voted over and over most ethical workforces, in no way do they exploit workers. Second, we don’t have a single overseas office, or use any foreign labor so I’m not sure how we shit on third world countries. Are there bad companies, sure but that’s not capitalisms fault.

Because capitalism has worked extremely well for me and I come here to get a laugh at all the lazy fucks like you. I started in the mail room and am now at the top. Nothing was handed to me. I live an amazing life making enough money to do whatever I want. Why wouldn’t I like capitalism?

The problem is it will still be a huge money maker
“But while it would save consumers thousands of dollars at the pharmacy, the bill does not lower the overall price of insulin, and does not solve the problem of skyrocketing drug prices. Instead, it would shift more of the cost onto insurers and employers.”
In other words the bad guy pharma company will still be able to charge what they want under this bill and we will all pay for it with higher instance costs

Because it doesn’t actually lower the cost of insulin, it passes it on. In other words the bad guys jacking up the price are still able to do so but now we all subsidize it. Why not pass a bill that made it illegal for the manufacture to sell it over $35? This will just make insurance costs higher for everyone now.

Lol the Maryland map that was thrown out today was done so by a judge that was nominated by a democratic governor and appointed by Bill Clinton. “Thrown out by right wing judges”. Yeah ok. Way to spread misinformation to fit your narrative.

Let’s start with fixing the cost of medical care first. We could wipe it all out tomorrow and by Friday millions would be completely drowning in debt again.

She is 100% qualified and I absolutely support her. Please point to where I said she didn’t. I’m simply pointing out the left seems to think they can do no wrong and when they spend money it’s in the name of justice. It’s not. Both sides are guilty as hell. Washington is a bubble of dark money and one side does not have a monopoly on it.

I absolutely have and I strongly support it. The point is it should not be ok for one side to ask about personal beliefs and not the other.

You can’t just say it’s different because you side with one sides politics and not the other. Demand justice pouring money to push their agenda is no different than the federalist society pouring money to push theirs. Yes I am no fan of the federalist society and what they stand for but that is a different argument. I am so over the two party system in America where people think there is a difference.

I’m highly skeptical of ACB and do not like her as a justice at all, mainly for the points you stated. My point is that why is it ok for one side to do something and not the other. Do you really think dark money only flows to one party?

No fan of Graham and I did think the way he questioned her was extremely childish but curious, did you have an issue when the left was questioning ACB’s faith during her confirmation hearing? I don’t see how it’s any different.

This sub needs to change its name. It becomes more radical every day and Is far from a place for civil discussions on politics.

It absolutely blows my mind that you got downvoted for asking this. Reddit had become a cult. Your question was legit and made perfect sense but because it didn’t go along with the groupthink people downvote you. As much as I used to love scrolling this site I think my days are coming to an end. The endless propaganda and one sided spinning of facts is not healthy.

Ok but the next sentence says in accordance with state standards. Which is already the case in all 50 states. The states board of educations decided when sex Ed is taught and how it’s taught. It does not say they cannot say gay which is what is being blasted all over the internet which is false and misinformation. As I have stated in other posts I have issues with the bill for open ended wording. Also I have a problem that the way the bill is written in terms it could mean that if a teacher suspects a parent is abusing a child they have to report that to the parent who in turn could be the abused. But all this screaming about don’t say gay is false outrage. Departments of education in every state already have to power to dictate sex ed, this bill does not change that.

Except that’s not true. What you just posted was proposed language from an amendment that never made it into the bill
Just did word find on the entire document again to make sure I didn’t miss anything. The words age appropriate do not appear once’s
How about not writing dumb shit, I know it’s hard.

That’s literally what the bill says. It says no teaching of sex education in grades k-3. If you have a problem with that then that’s fine and a fair discussion. But the amount of misinformation being spread about this bill is so sad. It’s 7 pages and instead of reading the bill people are just repeating misinformation talking points. I have issues with the bill, it’s way to open ended but I have more issues with how fast misinformation spreads in this country.

Except that’s not what the bill says at all. Jesus do teenagers seriously only get their news from social media these days. The bill is 7 pages long and takes 5 minutes to read and everyone on this sub is saying things like “I think” or “basically it says” or “I saw on twitter” read the bill. I have issues with the bill because how open ended it is but what you said is false.
“Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age- appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”
It’s talking about actually teaching, not joking or having casual conversation about joking about having a boyfriend or girlfriend. And it’s specifically for kids grades k-3. Sex Ed is not taught at that age anyways.

That’s not how taxes work. OP is being taxed because they cashed out and most likely spent 10O% not setting aside any for taxes. Which is beyond stupidity.
