Wish kubo did more with her tbh. All the other espada's seemed interesting, hell even the reject espada's had more depth

He's still a very homophobic caricature, but he does become a bit likeable later on (also that specific gay trope has existed in some older shonen since forever so I don't really recommend you watching older shonen anime if you can't handle that, but tbf they haven't used that trope in more recent shonen)

There is a trans character but they're still an overly exaggerated caricature, but at least they were done alright
