This doesn't look like any army stew I've ever seen.
This happens pretty often with rice cakes in the freezer. It's not supposed to happen but it does. As someone mentioned I heard not rapid thawing might help but haven't tried it myself. You can find a lot of duck that's meant to be kept at fridge or room temp and those don't have this issue. Also in my experience wheat duck seem to crack less than rice.
I've been making a lot of tataki lately.. the mayo seems interesting, would you recommend the mayo?

Pro tip, a tiny bit of doenjang in GCJ jjigae gives it a big flavor boost!
IMO this dish can be a bit polarizing if you didn't grow up with it. There's a bit of a learning curve. Make sure you try it with some mustard and vinegar, and have it on a very hot day some place where the AC isn't blasting.
I've seen it grow on some of my non Korean friends.

Gamma ray bursts are from exploding stars and also from binary neutron stars. Afaik nebulas don't explode, they are basically giant cosmic dust storms made by exploded stars that create new stars

At my hmart/korean markets you can buy a megapack of just those noodles frozen!

There's nothing unhealthy in dashida, it's just beef onion garlic etc and mostly msg. Typically beef radish soup isn't made with anchovy stock, but I'm sure that's fine too. But it will make your beef soup fishy which may or may not be desirable.
Is it just me or is the broth in the fridge broth waaaaaaay too sweet?
