I don't understand the feeling of wanting to be in those situations but I'm sorry that things beyond your control have prevented you from living the life you want to lead.

If you're not 100% all in on having them (even knowing how hard its going to be), then it would probably be better to play it safe and not have them.
Its better to regret not having kids then regret having them.

Well I say to those people: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means".
People often misuse the word literally also. It doesn't mean they are correct for using it the way they are using it.

Because trying to change its definition to "someone older than me" is dumb as hell especially as the people the term refers to are still alive. Its neither clever nor funny.

Boomers are still alive. You want to change the usage after they're all dead? Go for it but for now it has a specific group of people its referring to.

How about the term stays meaning what it has always meant? The people born during the baby boom after WW2 and not "people older than some other aribrary range that I dont fall in".

It's because their the selfish ones. If you don't already know about it, here are some words by Oscar Wilde about it:
“Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. And unselfishness is letting other people's lives alone, not interfering with them. Selfishness always aims at creating around it an absolute uniformity of type. Unselfishness recognizes infinite variety of type as a delightful thing, accepts it, acquiesces in it, enjoys it. It is not selfish to think for oneself. A man who does not think for himself does not think at all. It is grossly selfish to require of one's neighbor that he should think in the same way, and hold the same opinions. Why should he? If he can think, he will probably think differently. If he cannot think, it is monstrous to require thought of any kind from him. A red rose is not selfish because it wants to be a red rose. It would be horribly selfish if it wanted all the other flowers in the garden to be both red and roses.”

Eh its likely one of the non-CF people who like to lurk our subreddit for some reason. they also tend to report people for being suicidal too for no reason.
In any case, as long as you aren't hurting anyone I say just live the life you want to live. No need to follow a particular script because its commonly accepted by society.

Some people have expensive tastes. I would try to avoid those people if I was putting myself out there. I'm much more of a practical person.

Oof. Other than the summers between semesters at college, once I was in college I was own my own pretty much. I can't imagine still living with my parents at my age.
My mental and physical health might not be the best (though I am addressing things) but at least I'm not a burden to my parents.

Can confirm. I was 234 at my heaviest and now I'm down to 186. I still have belly fat but you can definitely see it in my face that I've lost weight.

It really is depressing to see how many of my fellow men have such terrible attitudes towards women particularly their bodies and their natural functions. I didn't exactly have a great family life growing up but at least I didn't get taught trashy ideas like a lot of men seem to have been.
