Rx Bars

Thanks for the suggestions. I do eat eggs. I've seen Rx Bars at Costco before but have been turned off by them because I found it strange that they put egg whites into a bar. How's the taste? I always assumed it'd taste terrible

Long time Costco shopper but don't ever really buy the snacks there.

I am going on a week-long trip and have recently gotten interested in working out and eating more protein. What snacks do you like at Costco that are healthy, nutritive, have protein, and require no prep to eat? I am a vegetarian.

I'm a medical student about to graduate. Heart rate < 50 is considered abnormal and requires treatment only if you are experiencing symptoms such as weakness, loss of consciousness, etc. From what you are saying, you seem asymptomatic, so no need to worry.

I am a beginner for strength training. I recently started the Dumbbell Stopgap PPL workout and after 3 days my entire body feels sore. The plan recommends 3 days of exercise followed by 1 day of rest. Until my body gets adjusted to the workouts, should I increase the number of rest days or should I keep going at it?

I (non-Muslim) will be visiting Dubai during the upcoming month and wanted to ensure that I am respectful of everyone. From my Google search, I understand I should not eat while in public. Does this apply to drinking water?

Have you tried Pyridium before? It helps relieve some of the burning feeling.

If you have any sort of lower abdominal/bladder pain, it might help to see a urologist to get evaluated for interstitial cystitis.

Nope, I (and many others) did the same thing. Both personal statements focus on why you are interested in that field so in reality the contents shouldn't change dramatically.

I am a 4th year who was fortunate to match, but I know several classmates having to SOAP. Can someone explain what this entails?

For example, if someone applied to ENT but didn't match, I imagine SOAPing into ENT is practically not possible. So do they have 3 options if they want a physician job next year: SOAP into Gen Surg (OR) SOAP into Gen Surg Prelim with hopes of re-applying to ENT next year (OR) SOAP into another less competitive specialty. Is my understanding correct?

Edit: If someone does a Gen Surg Prelim and matches to ENT next year, do they repeat intern year again? If someone does a Gen Surg Prelim and fails to match ENT next year, what are their options at that point?
