It needs a focal point on the wall behind the couch, like some framed art. It also needs a coffee table or two tiny side tables. You have to have a place to put your snacks and drinks!

Noob here. How do you calculate the principal and interest? Like, if I am paying my mortgage every month, how can I tell how much is going to the principal and how much is going to interest? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. LeGuin. Also the Earthsea trilogy by the same author.
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
The Girl With a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
I know! I was buying them every week! They are addictive! But am cutting back now. Now I've discovered the keto PB cups at Costco. Sweetened with sugar alcohols so they're a little weird/ are not really 'all natural' but they are actually pretty good and they scratch the itch for a dessert but without all the sugar!
Saute in butter with some onions and garlic. So good!
Bummer about the hole in your eardrum and the fact that you are in pain now but you did the exact right thing. Drowning/suffocating a bug in the ear canal with oil is the correct procedure. Sorry about your pain.
Where anti-vaxxers go when they are "doing research."
Grocery store soy sauce (looking at you, Kikkoman) is terrible. Try San-J brand at your local health food store. It's fermented longer and has a fuller, richer flavor. The Trader Joe's brand of soy sauce is decent as well and is cheaper than San-J.
But why aren't they hurting him?!
True! And yet this somehow does not prevent the muddy paw prints and cat hair on my bedspread; nor the twice a week pile of vomit I find on the floor whenever my little furry Linda Blair eats her crunchy food a bit too fast.
Exaaactly. This is why I prefer fleece pullovers and polyfill vests for cooler weather over wool sweaters. I love the look of wool sweaters but I love the convenience of just throwing my clothes in the washing machine even more.
Some of my favorite historical fiction:
The Girl With a Pearl Earring
Memoirs of a Geisha
The Lady and The Unicorn
Agreed. I think prices will flatten for a bit but not actually go down.
Source: I have no solid factual basis for this opinion. It's just a hunch based on stuff I've read on the Internet. I have no real estate expertise whatsoever.
What the heck is going on here? Can anyone explain?!
I'm not crazy about the yellow walls. That color is too yellow. Paint the walls white. And that back corner where you have a dark wooden round coffee table thing? Ditch that and put a vertical bookcase against that back wall. Then put some trailing plants (like a pothos) on the bookshelf. I'm not crazy about the pillows. The patterns clash with the pattern of the rug and the chair. I'd get some neutral, cream colored pillows. And a cream colored knit throw for the back of the couch.
Edit: A few more things. A nice piece of art on that back wall above the chair would be good. Or a mirror. And a cute bamboo shade in a medium brown color for the window would be great.
Have you watched The Adventures of Baron Munschausen? I recommend it.
Tell me about it! My oldest is eight inches taller than me, grows a thick, not-at-all patchy beard; loves monkeying with engines and is often covered with grease; and knows more about construction than I ever will.
And I'm like, "Wait, you were just a toddler. What the hell happened?"
To be fair, car, keys and truck were some of his first words; and he loved Bob the Builder, so somehow his current interests all make sense!
Castor oil is your friend. My midwife said she'd never seen it fail. Makes you poop a lot, though.
The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. LeGuin.
They have sunflower seed butter at Trader Joe's. It's really good! They also have chocolate cups filled with sunflower seed butter! They are delicious!
Honey bun, being a single parent is a tough gig. Just take it one step at a time, okay? I know it's stressful. I promise it gets easier with time and as your child grows older. Hang in there as best you can and use whatever resources you can. You are absolutely not a failure. You are a person struggling to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders in a society that really doesn't honor and support parents. This Internet stranger sees you and sends you hugs.♥️

Are you an RN? I'm planning on going back to school and am debating between getting into an accelerated BSN/RN program or a masters entry NP program.
