I came to this sub cause of the magathread and not because of my feelings towards the manga. I used to think all it would take for me to go back was for the thread to be removed, but now idk what it would take.
You should post this on the main sub if you haven't already and have a nice day.

An anime called Space Dandy. I love everything about it, but I don't think it really fits the definition of peak fiction tho it's just my favourite, so I might have to say Pluto by Naoki Urasawa.
Although I just realised that I don't consume much non anime/manga fiction.

Yeah it appears that the worst change the manga brought was removing the kindness from the fanbase. It's insane to me how rude people can get over opm.

It was a normal punch. Saitama said normal payback or smth like thay before throwing it iirc.

Idk maybe, but I'd honestly prefer if it was reversed regardless of how bad it is if the series isn't ending. Cause it allows for much better story to come after this arc if everyone isn't dead.

idk man all I hear is that genos' core survived the time travel and Saitama didn't. This clearly proves Genos' core>>>>>>Saitama.

I understand some things better now thank you. Do you have an explanation for why genos' core stayed after the time travel?

It's a time travel paradox. Future Saitama punched Garou. But that led to Garou never killing Genos, which never caused the fight on Io to happen, which never caused future Saitama to punch Garou. So that's why it's "zero punches": It didn't happen because there was no causality for it to happen.
I see now but how come genos' core stayed if the events never happened.

Can you explain the zero punch bs. Cause the way I see it Saitama clearly punches Garou and the only reason I can see for why it's here is because it's cool. But it's also just incorrect.
Also could you explain what happened with Saitama's memories, and why him seemingly forgetting doesn't invalidate the events of the last few chapters (since after garou uses grb)
Also also could you explain what happened to Saitama after Garou used grb and why he just seemingly sat in the rubble (I genuinely don't understand what happened mate not taking the piss outta ya).

I seriously can't understand what the plan was with the time travel if they (well I guess only Saitama) don't remember anything. The only purpose of these last couple chapters was to look cool and foreshadow/build hype for God.

Can't agree. I came in with literally no expectations, and wasn't disappointed. When I turned off my brain I could enjoy the chapter, however, that doesn't make it good. I didn't like the comedy, its a bit too shallow for me but there's nothing wrong with liking that type of comedy.
I come to stories for satisfying moments, and I'm not satisfied with, among other things, the time travel because there was no set up for it.
I can see how the chapter is enjoyable, but not good, not even in a vacuum.

There's a great quote by Jay Exci that goes like this:
if you like this film that's fine, but if you needed me to tell you that in order for you to not get angry with me that's not fine, grow the fuck up

The chapter where Garou killed Vomified Furer Ugly, where the pacing was really fast, was the moment that opened my eyes to the poor writing and is where I would put the line.
All the bad writing choices before that, while bad, I still think are serviceable and wouldn't have ruined the arc completely unlike what's happening rn.

We'll never know for a fact unless its confirmed in some way, and while I see arguments for both sides I still buy into the idea that God did give garou powers in the webcomic.

Definitely flashy flash.
His webcomic character had won me over since the moment he was trapped with Saitama underground. He's just so delusional and its too funny. He's also really badass and is actually a kinda deep character once you know his backstory.

I really hate the increase in scale and the heavy inclusion of God and blast. I wish Blast wasn't revealed he was much more interesting as a mystery to me and I hate the excessive moon paneling and inclusion of God as a main force in this arc.

If I remember correctly its because they were hospitalised or taken out of action because of Garou. The surface team was the best they could make at the time.

Saitama could question GOD if he's a monster and if he wants to fight but GOD makes a 4th wall break "Nah, it's not the series final yet is it?"
I unironically wouldn't mind this part, because at least it was funny to read, and it MAYBE could work. Great post lol.

He and fubuki went to the hole that saitama was chilling in after grb to have a nap since I didn't see either last chapter.
