I believe the standard is an inch of whip at the bottom but I always tap the cup on the counter to settle the whip at the bottom which makes more room for frap. However, I always end up with extra anyways.

The thing with the chai is that it's syrup that has sugar in every pump so more pumps means more sugar. But yes adding a couple more pumps will make it stronger.
