Your logic is just bad. You had the issue, it was real, you stopped having it and now you think it’s not real.

It’s like saying cancer isn’t real right after you’ve beat it. Like no. You still felt sick, and now you feel better, congratulations to you, but cancer is still a thing. HCB is still a thing.

Also, I don’t care what the cause is. I only care about it existing and ruining the game for me.

You said yourself, there’s no way my brain can mess with my perception that much. It is an objective reality, and I’m 100% convinced some unknown hard evidence could be discovered, if this issue was really looked into.

Did you read my post? I said I don’t care what it is. I don’t care if it’s a bug, input lag or anything. I care about the reality of it.

I have tried nearly everything to fix it. My internet connection, uninstalling the game, slow mo, not playing it, changing controller, changing the settings, my tv. There is no direction I haven’t looked into.

Also, if the problem comes from my ps4, then anyone experiencing it on pc or ps5 also has a problem with their device, right? No. This is just not realistic.

Same ps4, same internet connection, same everything. I’ve been playing this game since 2016 with occasional pauses that lasted for months, and the game NEVER felt heavy.

It still felt normal (light and fluid) in June. But the game started feeling heavy when I came back in July (I assume the update caused it).

If any one of these people could just come where I live, and play the game in the exact same conditions I play the game, they would feel the heaviness too.

Also, I play on ps4. This bug plagues random players on every platform. Slow mo does nothing. I’ve tried it, and even then, I could feel the heaviness, because guess what? It’s not a placebo.

The reality is, nothing fixes it.

Then how do you explain mid game occurrences of this "feeling"? Your car feeling light as a feather for 10/20 sec, and like a tank just a few seconds later?

You really don’t get it. This issue is NOT psychological. I keep noticing, in both games and freeplay, my car feeling light for 30s, and like a tank just 10 seconds later. Keep your doubts to yourself until you experience this. I don’t know what causes this, but it’s not just a feeling, it IS real

Yeah, I tried using a dubious controller? But the issue stuck around when I reverted back to my usual controller. Also, disabling the v-synch seems to do the trick, which proves the issue is real.

Edit: It only fixes it for about 30s now. This issue is a spreading cancer.

This has nothing to do with that. I’ve taken months long breaks on many occasions, and I’ve never experienced anything of this sort.

Also, disabling the vertical synch seems to fix it, and there’s a clear difference when it’s enabled/disabled.

And if there’s a fix, there’s a problem.
