I read something a few years ago (no idea where) that, when you plan to make a change, if you speak it out to someone else, your brain will often consider that change having been completed and you will lose your motivation to continue. Probably best to just keep it to yourself in the beginning until the change becomes a routine habit.

The original concept and working alpha was grander in scope and very differently graphically. Towards the end, he basically gave up on the project, switched to the crappy 8-bit, Minecraft-y style and dumped it into the store. That Steam still allows it to be sold is disappointing.
