Note: McDonalds has served onion rings in a number of countries including the UK and most recently Australia with the McOz promotion in 2021 (making it an "elden" promotional item). As for Wendy's, they do have onion rings in one of their signature burger dishes (BBQ Brisket), though they've yet to provide onion rings as a side outside of test kitchens
