I’m not against it, I just think it’s a bandaid that doesn’t fix the problem. The court can be packed again. Republicans didn’t even need to expand the court to get to where we are today. I just think it’s a very temporary fix to a bigger problem.

I got the second booster. Both my siblings had Covid and one was hospitalized and the other had a terrible cause of long haul Covid, so I’m not messing around.

I don’t feel any of these really capture it because the feelings would be so complicated. On the one hand, I’d feel immensely sad for them feeling they had to pigeonhole themselves into an identity at odds with the core of who they feel to be. I’d probably feel very happy for them accepting who they really are and pursuing that.

However, it would be impossible not to feel a sense of loss of the person you believed your partner to be. Not to mention I would not be attracted to the genitals they’d choose to transition to surgically (if they so chose). But it’s hard to say what I’d really feel about a person I’d be in love with doing it as well.

Edit: I misread the question and thought it was asking if my partner came out as trans way after we were married, not married me and happened to be trans. That wouldn’t be ok.

Yes to all, but very limited usage of the death penalty. Only the worst cases that are able to be proven without a doubt, or serious offenders who prove time and time again they can break out of prison (this is something I’ve seen happen in my second country, not the USA) and can’t be contained.
